Default My series 2 caprice limo

Hey guy, been a long time reader on this site. So i throught its about time i listed my car. I've had the car since MAY 09, Had to goto ACT to pick it up (what a road trip)

    Name : Mike

Car : 98 VS series 2 CAPRICE ( ex prime minister car )

    Colour : White over silver

Bodykit : None for now, but i do have series 3 front and rear bars. Got to get off my ass and get them painted and put on.

Engine : WAS A STOCK AS A ROCK V6, going to put in a supercharge manual stroker (sold it as i got a ofter i couldn't knock back) end up putting in a L67 (i'm glad i did, as its only a cruiser. Got my other toy, for power)

Mods : Eversingle gasket and water hose got change before the motor was put in. Then install a SVI gas system with a APA gas tank. Loving it as it cost me only $20 to $35 (depending on the gas price) to fill up and getting 250km to 600km out of a tank of gas. With NO POWER LOSS and back firing problems, Upgrade to a MACE 10psi pully (THANK YOU STEVE) with a custom made exhaust system (as there is NO after market exhaust system for it).

Rims: Stockies, vs caprice , GENUINE VY GTS with white walls, GENUINE VS SENATOR 10 spokes

Diff : WAS a standard single spinner, but now its a fully rebuild (tight as a nuns c***) LSD with standard ratio (just remember its only a cruiser)

Suspension : Monroe shockers with King Spring SSL front and SSSL rear.

Interior : Factory half/half with extra woodgrain from a vs series 2 calais. And later on when I get off my ASS, is to put in a VR statesman clock and airbag. Got them, just have to find time.

    Stereo : STOCK

Future Mods : SUNROOF Got one, just have to fit it in. Maybe up the boost and intercooler???

Oh yeah big diffenece, in power with the l36 to l67. I was going to work the normal 6 up for a bit more go, but it would of costed too much and its was cheaper to get a l67. As for doing a conversion, it was piice of piss everything was plug and play. Just make sure you get the acc cable (super6 are longer)and the supercharge fuel pump are they are a two stage fuel pump. If you get stuck just let me know
