Diff – LSD, rebuilt with 3.91 gears

Brakes – standard rear, slotted rotors for front

Suspension – king springs S/Lows front and rear

Rims – 17” ROH

Interior - standard

Stereo – pioneer head unit, splits in the front, 6 x 9’s in rear, kenwood sub…who cares about sound systems when you got a 5L???

Other Mods – custom water temp and oil pressure gauges, polished engine covers, alarm,

looks clean mate. You just need some original wheels, i would change the rear taillights to some belina/calias ones. I did something very similar with my gauges.

yeah....interesting about the taillights....i much prefer the ones it has over calais ones...i rekon they look cleaner

yeah i love the tri spokes but the guy before me broke one and so sold the other 3 and put some crappy 15's on it

i love this car mate . oi i reckon you should change the tail lights to the berlina/calais/SS ones too.. look at mine heaps nice haha. I dunno why they put the executive style ones on the clubby's... so wierd

i bought the car as it is so all mods were not done by me....except for the rims

although all are things i would have done to the car anyway...very happy someone has gone to the effort for me!!!!

just an update
today i fixed the horn..which was easy...just a straight swap with the horn from my old vr....only problem was it was a bugger to get to...total time was an hr
also diagnosed the rattle in my exhaust which i will have welded up nxt week
also i photoshopped some calis tail lights on......didnt really take my fancy but dont care either way....ill just leave the stock ones as is....way easier
engine is running sweet...no leaks

next step is fixing a few rust spots appearing with a spray painter mate....with a few coldies of course!!!

suspension cost me 1200 bucks yesterday
had all bushes and the bump stops replaced in the front end as well as a rear camber kit fitted and wheel alignment done

haha now my tyres might last more than 6 months!!

looks sweet with the s pack lip...i wanna get one for my senator. but i agree with everyone else...the calais (senator) tail lights looks better than the exc ones...but thats just my opinion. should get some nice hsv rims for it and it would be porn! ve gts' *hint hint*

I usually don't like cosmetically modded VS HSV's, as they look sex as they are, but in this case, i reckon the S-pac lip looks quite good. Throw some tri spoke VS Clubby wheels back on, and it would be hell sweet.

hows it go with the cam? whats the torque like?

yeah the cam is great...low down torque is average but it really starts to kick in at 3000rpm
idle isnt too lumpy either and the car sounds business with the cam and twin exhaust

i see you got calais tail lights...u happy with them?? i have a few mates trying to convince me to get some but i dont really think they are worth spending money on even tho i do agree they look better

cheers mate....i love the spoiler....i just think the stock hsv looks to big and showy....but i sorta agree with you on the rims....if the car still had the tri spokes when i bought i would have kept them...but it came with some crappy 15's so i just put the current ones cause i had them on my old vr!!
