Smile VSII L67 Statesman on 20s

Here is my stato. Have had it for about 3-4 months now and this is what i have done since receiving it Hope you like it.

    YT 87mm pulley upgrade
    3 inch exhaust
    K & N filter
    CAI
    20inch xhp deuce rims
    boost gauge

No future mods planned except maybe lower the front just a little to tuck the rim a bit better.

    Looks good mate.

You should get the caprice grille on it and drop it another inch front and back.

Very clean and tidy though, nice one!

thanks guys, have added a couple extra pics in of interior/engine. Yeah it definitely needs dropping an inch at the front, but i am hesitant to touch the back because of the camber. Tyres aren't the cheapest for 20s lol and caprice grill could be soon if i come across a decent cheap one.

L67s sure are a good engine and the smaller YT pulley keeps it looking stock. Just got to remove that engine turtle shell as all it is doing is keeping some heat in. The outside looks good also, the rims are big and chrome but not those way over the top ugly looking types. Could definately use a little bit more lowering but not too much. Good luck with it.

    True about the rear camber.

You could look at getting a camber kit in the rear (4 point). One of my mates had a 5L VSII Statesman with SSSL and 19's in the back. He had a bit of inner tyre wear but nothing massive.

Of you could bag it! Problem solved... haha!

Anyway, looks good either way mate.

Yeah, bags can get expensive... the cheapest bagging solution is the latest Evolution 'Drop In' setup.

Basically the bags are straight replacement for the springs and you run the lines from each into the boot. And you can fill them or let them down using a normal servo tyre pump station or just a 12v compressor.

Something to keep in mind anyway.

I'm looking at a statesman atm... Thinking i might have to spend a bit much to get it looking how i want though, and also its not a 5.0 litre due to it being my first car :S
