bens toys, vr and a vs - let the fun begin
just got these droped of this morning. the silver vs has been written off with water damage and the interior is in 1000 pieces (really) but besides that the body is pretty clean and thats all i really want it for. the black vr as u can see has been in a front end smash but only really want for the motor, a 4.2 V6 stroker turbo5 speed manual all running with a microtech LT10 computer, LSD in the rear and lots of other little goodies
i plan to hook in over the next couple of months, ive never played with turbo setups so it should be good fun. any advice is much more that welcome
and this is the daily sled ive built, only just gotten it back on the road

wow thats a tight squeeze with the turbo gear in the engine bay, that would be so much fun to drive once its complete

if your doing what i think you are and putting the turbo setup on the ute...... THATS GONNA BE AWESOME.... But a little white nuckle hahah. Good Stuff mate ill keep an aye on your progress.

been pretty lazy latley, the black ute was completly stripped of any decent parts then sent to the scrappys, ive moved houses so everything just got chucked into the back of the silver ute and should be getting back into it shortly. still got a long way to go tho i didnt think their was gonna be that much work in it... but i was so wrong haha

thats things seems pretty ballsy, and the color on it was champaign, sort of silver and gold mixed.
yea ive found its a pretty rare colour, ive been searching for a bonnet the same so i dont have to get one painted but no luck yet... just got afew more things to do then ill be towing it up to wsid to see how she goes down the strip.

i've seen a few vs' in the same colour, but the weren't going for spares, and when you find one thats written off it'll probably have a smashed front. lol. and did'nt i come with bonnet?

been a while since ive updated, its got a new garrett CHRA in the turbo, vt brakes, all the new fuel set up has gone in, got a bonnet (green one, spewin). Its been to the engineers and been told to tidy up a few things then she will be sweet for rego! farrk it goes nice with the garrett turbo, very tail happy to say the least. cant wait to get it down to the strip. still needs a tune, the cold start is a little out as ya can see in the vid. enjoy.

Sorry but it really pisses me off, and it's people like you who do that sort of stupid shit that make the general public thing everyone with a modified car is a 'hoon'. Hope you lose your licence.

nice build mate, how did you get the rego with the turbo? Did you have to get a engineers report or cert?
