Half way through fixing the roof lining. I plan on doing it a black vinyl.
get some pictures up matey!
I have one of the outside, I'l put that up. I am waiting to finish the rooflining and for her to get a good wash before I take some photos.
Rooflining is nearly done, Once material is on and it is back into the car. Might rip the hubcaps off tomorrow and retrim the doors in the same material. It's a black vinyl. She is getting a wash tommorow so will take some snaps and put up a proper thing.
Didn't get around to washing her today, Instead I took off the mudflaps, Painted the visors, Put the material on the hoodlining, Removed the rest of the badges and took the rear strip off the bumper.
can you post some pics?
Sounds like a steal........ get those pics up mate.

nice pick up for 2g's. Just five it a bit of a clean up and youll have something nice. With the interior just keep to your blacks greys and whites. Any wild colours will most likly look tacky. roof lining sounds nice
Rooflining looks like shit haha. I tried spray adhesive, 2 Types followed both instructuons and it didn't work so used contact cement, Stuck a little to well, It has quite a few wrinkles. I got some paint today so I can paint trolley strips and rear boot garnish, Might have a go on the door handles aswell. I also recovered the little cloth inserts in the doors. Now I just gotta pay dad back the 500 bucks for insurance and start saving for wheels and lower. After that I want exhaust and extractors, then a better stereo. After that should be all good.
yeah thats it mate just save save save. one of the things i regret doing was spending the money on stuff i didnt really need. ohwell only young once. When do you go for your licence??
Umm, I turn 17 on the 18th of December but I don't get my P's until the 30th. O well, It's better spending it on a car than on piss and drugs
Painted the rear garnish today. Cost me $15 for primer and paint. Should I clear coat?

Half way through painting door handles and trolley strip. Gonna give her a bit of a polish on the weekend. I am thinking about either buying a straight VL and chucking a 5ltr in it or building up a turbo ecotec for this beast. If I choose VL this will be my daily if I turbo it might get a little pulsar run around.
whats the point of getting a 5Ltr VL, or turbocharging this?
you wont be able to drive it for 3 years...
hey man the door handles look good , how did you go about doing them ??
Thanks man, I just got a can of touch up paint from supercheap and some plastic prymer, Cleaned them off with prepwash then gave 2 coats of prymer, 3 coats of touchup. If you ring holden parts and tell them make, model and series they can give you a code, Then you go into supercheap and tell them the code that holden gave you and they can look it up in a little book and tell you the touch up paint you need. Be sure to mask up all around it and take your times, A thin coat with no runs beats a large coat with runs. And Jamie-B, I'm from W.A, No restrictions on vehicles we can drive over here mate (Y)
Good effort with the painting... I'm wanting to do the same to my boot garnish and mirrors. I think the slight paint color difference would shit me though... Going to the pick-a-part wreckers tomorrow to find some factory white ones.
hey mate, looks good, just wondering how long it took to do the door moulds? thinking about doing mine but not too sure yet. did u finish it with a caramel wheel or it didnt need it???
