    Default my 1994 VR Commodore BT1 :)

hey, fairly new here, im michael anyway, this was my mates car, got it for $500, but the motor has something major wrong with it, sounds like the big end bearing, so much for this motor being rebuilt 20,xxx ago, anyways, as i said its a 94 VR commodore BT1, ex chaser FE2 suspension, no LSD just standard open wheel diff i believe, motor got pulled down a little today, will be taken out tomorrow, then should have another motor to put in soon.. one thing thats got me stoked, is, i thought ex cop cars were all white.. why is this dark blue? maybe undercover car? and also, i thought back then BT1's were V8's?
anyways heres some pics, looks crap without the mags on it, but ahwell

Some nice mags and better tail lights will make it look heaps better. For $500, you got it for a good price.

I read that the bellmouth isn't worth taking out and that any 'gain' you'd get would be your imagination.

    Havent updated this in ages!

Well, after that new motor went in a couple weeks later the trans went, so ended up buying another trans and wacking that in.

that motor lasted 3 months (up until 3 weeks ago) when it overheated and seized up, so i bought a written off VS commodore, and converted my BT1 to Ecotec also put all the VS interior in it aswell. the conversion was really alot easier then i thought it'd be. everyone thinks im lying when i say its a VR.. pretty much the only way you can tell its a VR is by the tags... everything is VS now.

really looking at other designs or styles for the rear lights, i did put stock ones in it to see what it looked like and i didnt like it, the altezzas looked better then stock lights.

heres a pic of how it really sits now... got a hold of some 15'' Pursuit rims, so they will be going on by the end of the week... the SS mags are getting low on tyres anyway so timed it perfectly.

will try and get some more pics tomorrow

I don't know why everyone is so negative about those lights. Personally on darker VR's i think they look pretty good,
They are just pretty common thats all.
It's looking nice though buddy, sweet pick up for the low price.
