Your VR looks very nice Nick, can't wait till I get some of my mods done. Just finished installing 2 green neons in the front, will take a picture and upload tonight when it gets a bit darker.

Good choice, the VR's are great cars and have a reliable engine. Note the engine also sounds heaps better than the ecotec with a little muffler modification =p

Thanks for commnets Kurt, once I get the exhaust kit fitted it should sound a lot better!!

EDIT: 2 front footwell neons installed, look awesome at night, tried to get some pics on my phone but they came out crappy. I'll get some on the proper camera tomorrow and upload!

Good starting point.
just some suggestions, colour code your mirrors (maybe door handles if u can be stuffed)
clear indicators
get rid of that pin strip...
All easy mods, just take some time and minimal money - will look a heap better imo

have you wired them up to a switch?
or to the interior light?

There wired up to the headlights, so when I turn the lights on the neons come on, but theres a killswitch incase I want them turned off. Im thinking of wiring them to the accessories instead tho, ill see what happens.

EDIT: Heres some pics of the neons, pretty crap quality but yeah there heaps brighter in real life.

Started debadgeing and removing the gay pinstripes today, should be finished tomorrow and then it'll look a lot better I hope

The top stripe I was able to peel straight off, the bottom one is been really hard and I didn't have any money this week to go look at a pinstripe remover so ive been peeling it bit by bit haha.

if you were real careful u could try using a razor blade.
but if all end fails, just dont bite/cut ur fingernails for a couple weeks and itll be a peice a piss lol

Just need a wash and cut and polish and ill put up some new pics! Starting to convert all my interior illumination to blue LED's now
