    Default Just Another VS Ute

I have'nt really done much to my ute since i bought it in October last year, it is a work in progress. But really there is not a hell of a lot i want to do to it, some 18" rims and lowering it are the main things i want to do. Oh, and take the bullbar off, i don't live in the sticks anymore and it does'nt need to be on there. Paid $7,500 for the ute with 170,000km on the clock.

Hi mate, they are pacemakers. I think they retail for about $700, they were on there already when i bought the ute. Have a look on ebay, you can get some decent ones (not pacemakers) for about $300.
They are worth getting in my opinion. They give you a little more overall power and they increase your fuel economy.

Wow, thanks for the nice comments mate. Yeah, i wasn't that keen on the bench seat at first, but they really grow on you don't they. The bench is very handy for a few reasons, wink wink

    Just a quick update,

Added some clear tail lights and some 17" Mags. It looks quite good with those changes i think.

    Cheers

Hey guys, just a quick question. What do you reckon that bullbar on my ute is worth? Its a TUFF bullbar with 2.5 inch tubing made in toowoomba. good condition, no dints, just needs a little paint.

Well a fairly big update here, I finally took that damn bullbar off. Makes it look a lot cleaner hey! And i have white number plates now, took those yellow things off.
Really the only plans i have for the ute now is getting it lowered with super lows, i don't want ultra lows, thats too low. Paint door handles white, fix small dint on the front of the bonnet. I will put in a CAI and maybe a K&N Filter, but i have been told there is'nt much difference from the original filter. Im raking in the cash now so i will have a bit to spend on it.
    Any other ideas are welcome.
And no im not taking the tow bar off, i tow things. And im not taking the skirts off, i like them.
If anyone wants to buy the bullbar, give me a yell.

hey mate, if u plan on leaving the skirts on, buy a front lip for the bumper. ultralowss arent as low as u think lol, i bought some the other day and i have 17's on and it only tucks 20 mm of the rear wheel. i will be updating pics soon on my page so take a look if u want. i noticed more of a difference wen i put in the kn filter than i did wen i went and added a cai. go roller rockers mate, if ur after some more power that is.

lookin good i like the side skirts. If the front had an s-pac lip it would follow the same line. If you lower it be sure to get some shorter bump stops otherwise youll be riding on them

Thanks guys, yeah i agree, a lip for that bumper is a great idea. The front sits higher than the rest because of the skirts lol, so yeah i will get a lip.
VS-S-Pack, yeh i will check out your pics when you put them up, that will give me some idea.

    Cheers
