    Default VR ACCLAIM Ls1

    Though id finally put up a my ride
    Not finished yet but more soon to come

    Car: VR series 2 Acclaim
    Colour: Blue
    Wheels: VS calais alloys
    Engine: Ls1 5.7l v8 from VY series 2 SS
    Gearbox: T56 6speed manual from VY SS (converted from auto)
    Mods: Engine conversion, Mafless tune, Aftermarket fuel rails, adjustable fuel pressure reg, surge tank, Bosch 044 external fuel pump, full alloy radiator, oil pressure guage
    Future mods: Finish car, homemade twin 3" exhaust with X pipe, custom extractors, custom 3" tail shaft, VT SS 3.46 lsd diff, nolathan kit, new springs n shockies, smallish cam (220/224?), New wheels, paint interior plastics and new seats

    Fair sort of a list, but should be good in the near future

    Yea sure did
    not fully finished just gotta do gbox xmember zorst and tail shaft
    Its really not hard at all especially if u get someone else to do the wiring, I would recomend hi torque performance at labrador on the GC they did my loom and modded my computer all for $500.
    Was kinda tricky finding a decent shell took me ages to find one with IRS/ABS

    yeh, thats it.
    i was gonna put it in, not worry about the wiring just do all the mechanical stuff.
    and then get wiring done and get it tuned.

    im looking for a shell might just get one with an engine and rip it out hey..

    I would recomend getting the wiring done first as its a lot easier to attach the loom when the engines not in the car
    They are so cheap these days especially if they dont have rego u may aswell

    Got my new alloy radiator, from ebay and au thermos
    Easy conversion just a bit of mucking around

    very nice! only thing is i got told only 3.9 or 4.11s will fit in this conversion, unless sum1 was bull shitin lol, 4.11s do go great with the 6speed

    Sounds like someone was yanking your chain
    Correct me if im wrong but i dont think the diff gears have much do do with it? lol
    I think its something to do with the VT diff or something i dunno i just heard something

    Coilpacks relocated - done =D
    had to order new o rings as factory ones dont fit?
    Extractors/exhaust bits ordered and tailshaft getting made tommorow

    Got my tailshaft made (bit short but she'll be right)
    Fitted the extractors this arvo wat a Sh1t of a job no room XD
    running tommorow (touchwood)

    Started it up last night!!
    Ran like an absolute dog lol
    Any ideas? blocked injectors? 6month old fuel? incorrect fuel pressure? vaccum leak? haha
    still very exciting
    gotta run heater hoses and put it back together got my eye on a statesman dash and trims that just came into the wreckers aswell as calais seats sitting in my wreck hehe

    haha all of the above probs, when i first got mine, i started her up n it just sat there idle at 3000rmps lol not fun 2 drive with a manual lol. still 2 this day dont know wat it was something 2 do with the computer.

    Sorted that problem out had the back left 2 coilpack wires confused (doh) now front 2 packs are either fudged or leads are stuff or something
    Also BCM (i think died) so wont start anymore XD

    Ok another update
    got a new drivers coil loom + BCM so HOPEFULLY should be running PROPERLY tommorow
    also started the exhaust so heres a few piccies
    Shows my swanky Mal wood Xmember
    Malwood = best stuff
