Well I got a vr commy.
Reco motor and box.
So thats going in the stato.
Oh did I mention its a manual box !!!!!

Picked it up today.
The bodys shit, It's got the shittest bogan exhaust, Holes everywhere no mufflers, Interior stripped (all in the boot), Rego'd till the 28th.
Apart from that, The motor and gear box are freakin' sweet, Perfect gear changes.
It either has a sweet LSD, A mini spool or a cig locker.
Pitty its a live =(, I need an lsd for mine.
Anyway, About a month and I'll start doing the conversion.

Yeah, I was actually embarressed to drive it home.
The guys friend thought the exhaust sounded mad.
His like 'Yeah its got no mufflers' and my reply was 'Yeah my cousins got a shit exhaust like this' he just laughed.

Standing at the drivers side door you can feel plenty of exhaust leeks lol.

Deffo a bogan commo.

Picked it up for $1500, Which I figured is good seems that a manual conversion is around the grand mark, Plus this motor is reco'd with under 10k on the motor. After driving the vr I noticed mine is abit warn.
So in about a month motor + box will be changed =)
Also the fella said that the vrs got a chip =D

Oh and the fella said that he came into a round about and a 4b didn't give way and the vr got farked up and the 4b just had a few scratches.

nice purchase with the vr well running gear anyway it will be good to see the progress of the manual conversion that might be also on the cards for mine keep the good work up on the stato

Yeah I'm heaps keen hey!
Driving the manual vr home and around town was so much better.
Ran out of rego yesty hahaha.
I will post of photos of the conversion when I get to it. Won't be until after the 28th of feb though.

Yeah 4bn is fun, Has been my money pit for the past 8 months lol.
Just spending money on the statesman to get it to a nice cruiser atm.

Also while I'm at it I got some new photos.

I also put some clear indicator on, It's amazing how much better it looks.

Also if anyone needs parts for a VR let me know hey, Keen to part out the VR once Ive taken the motor+gearbox.

Cause the vrs live and mines irs.
Its a fair bit of farkin' around, Much easier to sell it and buy one ready to bolt in.

Deciding that the need for boot space was a majour need, So I decided to make up a new box for my sub.
Still has to be carpetted but that can wait.
Went to bunnings to get the mdf and got the guy to cut it out, I took the measurements to him in inches and his like 'Your too young to use inches' haha. But he found it funny and didn't charge me for the cuts cause he thought it was an advanture haha.

Whipped up a cardboard one just to see how it fitted.


Started making the box.





And I didn't realise how big my idmax was untill i had it out of the box.




Excuse the mess but it was like 11pm when I finished up lol
