I have the 3.08 IRS LSD ABS one out of mine sitting on the bench. Theres nothing wrong with it, its in great condition, I only changed it for a 4.11 diff. A quick clean on the outside and mebbe a paint and bolt it straight in. Want $400 for it PM me if your interested.

I am going to chase up a series 3 Caprice console and do very similar to this, With hopefully a VY 5 speed knob.

I may have one lined up.
And I'm not a fan of the two piece one in a stato, Looks tacky I reckon.

3.7's all the way or 3.9's if you cant find 3.7's let us know how the manual conversions going along, working in sydney for the next 3 weeks so got some sweet cashflow am deffo keen on a manual conversion and 3.9's spooled and a raptor in 6 months .......... what sort of box did you end up getting in the car your converting from?

buy em off z ebay for like 200 or a hole diff setup reco lsd or spool with the gears already in for 700

Mad, I'll probably get an LSD to go in.
Then get it tightened cause a spool might be abit much on the road wouldn't it lol.
Would be nice though.

(Lights that are on private roads of corse lol)

Uhhh, The statos got 280k on it and it just drove from newcastle to Brisbane with out missing a beat. As long as you keep the services up to it, She sweet.

280 thou id change the motor aswell lol, i dont think it will make much difference fuel wise fuels pretty shit atm so i dont care lol i dont drive my car that much n e ways just got a work truck so the caprice can come off the road when im doing stuff to it, how long you reckon the conversion will take u ever done one before lol?

I haven't, But my cousin just did it to his VP.
I might do motor and box, I'll talk to dad in the morning and see what he thinks.
Hopefully my cousin can come around this week and help lol.
