this image is just a picture i took of my body kit which i have been slowly sanding back over the past couple of weeks preparing it for a paint job cant wait to put it on

hey mate, nice car, how did u get the black strong glue off the doors?

ahha tat bit was a real arse to get off. it was like the first thing i started to do and took me slowly over a week or so to get it off as i tried many methods .for the side doors i firstly got a head gun and run it over the top of the strip and slowly i was able to peal it off but make sure ur not to close to the car cause u wil burn the paint.. after tat i was left with stilll half of the strip so again i heated it up and then used some metho on a towel and rubbed at the paint to losen it up then got like a plastic object to scrape it off..after that their is like a small tiny line left from where the main glue section was and this part took me agers to get off. you really have a rub it hard and continously to losen it up and eventually i rubbed it off and you have to sock the towel for this part. but cause im going to respray the car i used the end of a nail for the last part and i left small scratches but nothing noticeable. for the bac and front were easier to get off. again i used a heat gun and run it p and down the scrip and you can notice it starting to lift and you have to kinda scrap the end to start it off and then pull it off as one but if ur to slow the strip gets cold and breaks so i would pull up a section at a time and then heat to next and continue doing tat. then after pulling it off i was left with like this glue marks and the best thing to get tat off was thinners and worked really well..but be carefully with this part cause i ended up pulling some paint off when i pulled up the strip.

hope this helped and was clear but if u r going to respray it soon its easy to do cause ur not cautious of making marks and can use stronger tools.

Some choice mods there lookin great. when you get it resprayed get the rear garnish done aswell will look tops.

update: was bored last night so thought i would put the kit on even tho its not painted by o well. im calling it my army car. all slowly coming together

yer everyone keeps saying that bout the indicators will go and get some in the next month when im not been lazy lol.yer love the interior alot classier

well hopping it will have the kit all nice and white by the weekend.
just wondering wat the chance is of having fog lights with this kit if their are some that will fit?
and in the next 2 weeks or so will be purchasing last parts of sound system
any their also anyway to secure the boot so it some idiot tries to get in prevent it from opening?

update:copped a $170 fine in the mail yesterday for been caught having a concession card ticket and not owning a concession card sucks bad so kit not looking to get painted now for a couple of weeks. and next weekend off to buy sub and amps to finish car system off.

-little update. bought sound system yesterday. planning to put to car in the garage for the next couple of days and try and get it all put in. also if not to lazy will pay a visit to local wreckers and buy some white indicators and other small items.cant wait to get it all in. also this means kit wont be in ow for a while. sticking to original plan and working on the inside first then do the outside
