Cheers Nick, hmmm im unsure of which spoiler to keep as I love the SS one as much as the S pack one!
Yeah thats what im hoping
LOL! Well I dont think there is oil in there and there is a few dents in the bottom of it!
Your on the ball
Oh yeah she is rough, got her for $1000 mate
Well I got the car on wednesday and I began stripping the interior back to a bare shell...
It was full of sand and fishing gear (hooks and weights) and once I finally cleaned it, it looked like this.
Then Rabbit came over and gave me a hand putting it all back in and he went apeshit with the interior and it came up like this....
Oh and I didnt believe him when he said he spent $600 the other month on brakes....but I guess he was telling the truth. Not even a lip yet on these bad boys!
Then I took it for a quick wash and it needs a cut and polish badly!

Cheers Mate, yeah shes a bit rough, but will a bit of TLC and a trip to the crash repairs in the next few weeks she will be back in tip top shape
Hmm im starting to lean towards keeping the S pac lip....
Oh and today I went to UPI with a big list of little bits and pieces it needs to be cleaned up and the first VR I saw had these, so I just had to get them
AND IT BEGINS....MUAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!
...funny thing is that I didnt end up getting anything from the list!
starting to look good now mate :P
got a Q tho.. with the carpet.. how do you easily get it out?
And how easy it is to put back inAND..is this a 1 person job to?
cant wait to see more pix!
Rough as guts, but nothing more pleasureable than making a pig into a a clean reliable cruiser!
My new ride with some upgrades.

Head unit: Fusion CA-CD500 Front Speakers: Fusion PP-CM650
Rear Speakers: FusionPP-FR6520 Subwoofer: Fusion PP-SW120 Amp For Front And Rear: Fusion PP-AM120040 Subwoofer Amp: Fusion PP-AM300010
Cheers mate
Okay you will need to pop out the bottom part of the rear seat. Then undo the front seats via the 4 allen headed bolts on the rails. you will then need to take out the center console via the two rear screws or nuts (depending on the model) and then undo the front section/ radio surround (if i remeber correctly). Then undo the seat belts from the trans tunnel (these are 19mm bolts) and also the ones on the pillars (19mm too). Then finally pop up the sill covers and wallah, the carpet can be taken out
To put it back in is the reverse. Its easily a one person job and aslong as you take your time and think things through it can easily be doen in a day
Cheers Fellas, yeah she will hopefully be a cheap, clean daily/cruser when she is done
Nah bro, but there is usally a set down there. just look in every engine bay and you will eventually find a set lol
Another update
The car needed new tyres and I was offered these for the same price as some new 15inch tyres....cannot complain with that!
And I also put in my old headunit out of the Calais
I also went and got a quote today on the repairs and im looking at over 2k. So ill go to a few other shops and have a look

I can tell that attention to detail is one of your strong points. I always believed that you can't polish a turd but you are starting to prove me wrong. BTW, how is the drivetrain holding up? Usually when you see a car treated like that by an owner you can be assured it isn't the best mechanically. I also agree on losing the SS spoiler..............real quick. I will give you $50.00 for the HD. $60.00 if it's an X2 (which it ain't)
anymore updates mate? its coming along nicely!
MY VS - http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...executive.html
You have a pussy, i have a dick, so whats the problem? Lets do it quick!!
Cheers mate
Yeah if you suss out my thread with my VN Calais and look at the undercarrige then you will see my obsession with attention to detail
Mechanically its got brand new brakes put on about a month before I got it and other than that I just flushed the cooling system and will be giving it a service soon
Well big update, Found a one owneer VB in mint conidtion around the corner from mine, so i rang the rents and I sold my bros old vn calais to my mate Rabbit for a daily, then my parents bought my bro the VR off of me and I bought the VB.
So the VZ SS rims are back onto my vn in the shed and he has put his ceptors from his vn on the VR.
2nd'd on ditching the SS spoiler. S pac lip ftw
(S pac lip > SS spoiler > no spoiler > V8 supercar T wing > SS spoiler on top of S pac lip)
