1998/99 SS V8, Manual, 158,000km

****Engine****

-Standard , with the exception of a gilmer drive to give it that charged sound, twin electric thermo's, Pace maker extractors and a ss over the radiator cold air intake.

***Custom Bodywork***

-Grafted a BA Falcon XR8 Hump to the Bonnet which when in line with the VU Maloo front Bar gives a tough stance and a very original look

-It has a full VS Maloo rear end including: Tailgate , Infil for tailgate, Rear Sailplane and pumped Rear Bar

- It also has VU Maloo Sideskirts

- Rear Tub infill panels (outer ones)

-Shaved attenna hole on front guard

-Front bumper also has GT Falcon Spotlights in proper places

-Custom made Hardlid with walkinshaw bulge Grafted into it

-Rolled Front and Rear Guards

Custom Two-tone Paint - Custom Glasurit Metalic Black Over Ford Focus Electric Orange , with holden Voodoo blue tribal with pinstriping shadowing and white pearl skulls and bones airbrushed through tribal.

-Chrome Tailgate Hinges

-Black alteza Brake lights

-Chrome window wipers

-tub liner

-few bits and pieces that i'm sure to forget until i've posted this

****Suspension*****

The ute has full Pro Bag FBSS air bag suspension, can be controlled in cab through switches in dash.

-Full 3 Inch exhaust system from pace maker extractors right back to dump pipe

-Adjustable Pan Hard Rod and Whiteline Heavy duty Front Sway Bar


-All Bushes etc front and rear replaced with nolthane ones


****Interior****

-Custom Black with Orange leather inserts door trims

-Colour coded Dash

-Retrimed in Black Headliner

-Retrimed Black and orange handbrake cover and section behind seats

-Chevy symbol interior chrome mirror

-Clarion cd player

-700wrms monoblock powering two 12 inch subs in tub

-Tinted 8% all round windows

-Airbag suspension controls

-neons

-Genuine hsv tub liner

haha awesome as ute, wheels are not my type but the rest of it's sick as. Now get a real charger on that so its not just a belt that makes it sound like one.

HAHA cheers bro! yeh i dont those wheels anymore... just some old 18's at the momement. im looking into some black 19's...possibly a 5 spoke design, yeh wouldnt mind turbo charging one day either.

nice ute dude.. my old vr v6 was similar set up... u should put the aerial down!!! i put it down on my old ute i never put it up and still got perfect radio signal..

i meant how did you get the lid to fit the sailplane. yours is one of the few ive seen that have fitted a sail plane with a hard top lid. they arent sold on ebay and i know they dont come like that. the maloo's didnt come stock with both of them. im just asking how or where did you get the lid made to fit.
Anyway very nice ute. ill try and make that the standard im going for.

Unbelievable i just sold that .
the sailplane was from a genuine maloo , the hardlid was bought off ebay (to suit a maloo 2nd hand) and than i fibreglass grafted a VE walkinshaw hump to it , it was the texture finish hardlid , therefore i spraybogged it and primed/painted etc
the air bag kit has boss double congulated bags in the rear and Pro bag struts in the front , it runs of 3/8" lines and 2X Viair air compressors . was a top ute but my job in the lower hunter valley was giving me the challenge of continuously dodging kangaroos so decided to sell before i hammered into one . a fine ute .
