Haha cheers, Yeah bought it with the spoiler on, I picked it up cheap and he said he doesnt want it, so I said I'd take it then flogg it off to someone.

1st update: Got a 2.5" Redback catback put on with sports muffler today. Sounds a lot cleaner and gruntier which is what I was after, paid $250 brand new fitted for it too so cheering about that

i'm happy your ripping off that spoiler though, looks shocking haha.

    Yeah thanks man.
Can't wait to take the cover off, it'll look heaps cleaner I think

And nahh not stock suspension, It's got Koni Adjustables in it. Even got a sticker on each side under the commodore badge, so im unsure if it's factory or aftermarket? Ideas anyone?

yeah, loosing that spoiler will make a huge difference, plus loosing the cover will probably be more convinient if your using it for work.
i don't think koni adjustables are factory? would be aftermarket, but don't hold me to it.

Yeah I think it probably would've been aftermarket, I'll take some pictures of the Koni badge when I take the cover off on the weekend. Should look sweet!

nice mate, just a few ideas to clean it upabit i think

    1. obviusly rip that spoiler off and burn it and throw the ashes off the side of a cliff
    2. rip the stripes off the side and the front, if the front takes paint off like it did with mine just paint it a colour to sorta suit a colour of the car.
    3. headlight protecters need to be burnt with the spolier
    4. maybe some stockies for some cheap tough lookn rims

looks good mate, looking forwad to see some mods come into action

Thanks for the kind words mate. Yeah totally agree with you on the spoiler! haha

I'm planning on going to the wreckers tomorrow to try and pick up some new side mirrors since it'll probly be just as cheap rather then to paint one of them since one is fairly chipped from rocks, and see if there's any SS's in there i can steal parts from or something

    Cheers, Brendan

Bit of an update. Removed the spoiler today, looks 100000 times better, and also removed the headlight protectors.

EDIT: Also picked up a ute mat for her today. Paid $80 brand new for it, so pretty happy about that

Got a quote to get my front bumber and rear bumperettes repainted, he said $150 and he'll have it done over a weekend. So I'll be gettin that done in the next couple of weeks when I get my tax refund back. Also will give it a full service and what not including:

    Mobil 1 5W50 Engine Oil
    Ryco Oil Filter
    K&N Air Filter
    Ryco Fuel Filter
    NGK Spark Plugs
Transmission filter and new Castrol transmission fluid
    Castrol Diff Oil
Front and Rear Uni Joints (as the front one is a little bit shagged so the exhaust shop told me)
Coolant flush and refill with proper coolant, as im pretty sure its not the right mixture as it takes forever for the temp guage to rise to operating temperature.

Just some new pics, nothin flash just from my phone so sorry about the quality till i find my digital camera ._.

    coming along very nicely mate.
agreed on the price of the spray, what a steal, makes me keen to get my bumperettes and front bar done, they have nice little stone chips and the rear left bumperette has a nice noticeble paint chip that i hide from the forum haha.

Thanks mate. Yeah considering it was like 2k to get my skyline repaired $150 seems like nothing haha. When he does it i'll also ask him to rip off the trolley strips and touch up some other bits and pieces and i'll just give him an extra $100 or something

Haha yeah so I can see, your rear pictures always show the right side only, not the left :P haha

Also considering getting clear taillights as my right rear is starting to fade, either that or i'll just buy two brand new sets off ebay, and tint one set lightly just to see how it goes, if it looks shithouse then i'll just put the other set i bought back on. Please let me know what you think as I want as many ppls opinions as possible. Thanks

haha, you caught me mate, right side photos of the back to avoid that ugly paint chip, i will get round to it soon hopefully, maybe when i get my small 18 year old tax return that i get.
i am not a big fan of aftermarket tail lights on the vs utes, so for gods sake please steer away from the aletza range or any chrome ones for that matter. clear taillights aren't my favourite, but for some strange reason white vs utes always pull them off, so thats always an option. but if you want that mean look go for the slightly tinted ones. you can even do that yourself on your current lights, i think supercheap or auto-barn stock some kind of paint for lights? my mate who has a vt sedan painted his with some kind of paint.
