Hey guys, ive been on this forum for a while and thought it was about time to show my old girl off.

Model: 1997 VS Series II Ute
Colour: Botenica Mica (AKA awesome Metalic green)
Engine Type: 3.8L Ecotec V6
Engine Mods: home made CAI (encloesd K&N pod), Mace 1:9 rolla rockers, Mace 25mm intake manifold spacer, 69mm pollished t/b, VY injectors, 10mm bosch sports leads,platnum plugs, colder thermostat, Dr bobs tune.
Exhaust: Dual 2 1/4" with high flow cats and mufflers
Gearbox: 5spd getrag manual
Power: Not enough (theres never enough)
Wheels/Tyres: 16" rims/ 25/50 dunlop sp sports 3000,
Suspension: lows all round
Interior: holden leather sports wheel, leather gear stick boot, i choped about 50mm of the top of the stick (standard it felt like i was driving a Kenworth not a commodore)
Stereo: Kenwood head unit
Other Mods: Clear Indicators, Red Brakes, Debadged rear, VT SS front spoiler, Tinted windows, Roll bars, side skirts (only cos i cant get what i want for the sides )
Future Mods: Advance headers, darker tint, ported plenem and runners, lsd, or maybe a traid in for a VXII SS. Dunno

nice list of mods there.. u hav done most ecotec mods minus a set of quality extractors hey

and Chappy if ur gettin just the lows put in u should only need springs cos thats what ive got atm and its fine

chappy, yea just the springs would be fine but mines got the struts and bushes done too, handles great in combination with the dunlop sports tyres.
hillzzy, yea just saving some dough for the extractors atm, the old girls only just got a leak in the exhaust so i gota get that fixxed at the same time.bang:

yeah true? mines got a rusted hole in the muffler.. need a new one asap
whats the exhaust sound like with twin 2 1/4? never heard em on a 6..
ohh and i see u got the 25mm manifold insulator. notice much difference??

imo vs utes look bets kept simple, without bodykits and clear lights, paint job looks realy clean tho, debadged the front and i like the sound of your mod list
i cut my pimpstick gear stick down aswell haha

Hillzzy, yea i recken it sounds prety tuff, and loud, still not as deep as an 8 though. and about the spacer well i did the 1:9 rockers at the same time so yea i did notice a difference as i use to lose a bit of guts when i changed into 3rd but now she just keeps pullin right through every gear.
Antoniomazzurra, usualy i would agree with you, but as this is as low as i can go due to my mufflers i need the sides otherwise it still sits too high. and most of the car has been resprayed as some wanker reversed into me while i was parked at work and i hit a f#$%ing roo 12 months ago. with my gear stick iv gotta get the hand break tightened then ill be hacking a bit more off of it.

nice man im keen to hear it lol post a vid up here or on youtube if ya ever get the chance.. yeh i know what ya mean about 3rd gear wen cruising it tends to die off and all the lovely exhaust sounds go away haha extractors should help that tho...

yea as soon as i get around to it ill post a vid with her reving, and with the mods ive got on the old girl now 3rd is my favorate gear its got heaps of guts from about 70km to 150-160km then the change into 4th keeps pulling so its pretty good ay.
