ah! the thread finally showed up.
Nice one mate, I can see many hours in the future working on it haha.
Shame about the gearbox, I meant to ask you the other day, how do you plan to go backwards out of the drive if N also acts as drive (fused C2 clutch)?
I imagine it isn't the easiest thing to push back if in all gears it either wants to stop (park and reverse) or just go forward (N/D/123). ??
Can't wait to see what you do with her
EDIT: Ive also got that photo of the OTRCAI after we fitted if you want me to bung it up

Well, because commodores are stupid, you can shift the gear with no keys in the ignition.
it seems to only act as a forward motion gear when the cars off, we moved it back today to fit Michaels stuff, so it rolls well in N, so it can get out when we need it too.
and if youve got decent picture of the OTRCAI then yeha chuck it up
Ahh true, wel it's hardly good (that iphone pic i took at the petrol station)
but here it is anyway
VRNathan's OTR-CAI after we installed it a few weeks back now:

Small update, got some SuperLows the other day, only got around to putting the rears in at the moment, invisable caravans are lame, i am quite aware.
It's about 10mm's away from the top of the tyre (guard to tyre) IRL
Pictures don't show a lot of it, but its a hell of a lot lower in person, ill try and find a before photo
And here's before...boarding on country pack, hah

all those shots look awesome. anything new on it?
looks good mate, love the colour and wondering how do superlows go ??? or would u recomend just lows ??
but how did u get the really blue lights ??
cheers. alex
Sorry guys, didnt think anyone would be interested.
Yeah, its got HSV pedals, the berlina chrome trolleys are back on, its got a S-pac boot lip spoiler, and VS Calais grills.
Superlows were a decent jump, theres a before shot in this thread, so have a look at it then have a look at the recent photos, mines gone down roughly 55mms (its lower now because of new shortened shocks and the settling in is complete) but i dont really know; as for recommendations, people say if you go lows you will be dissapointed, i can vouch for that, if it was just on lows id be annoyed, a rough FE2 height just isnt low enough, depends on what you want from your car, where you use it etc.
In those shots its just ultra white parkers on for the shots, they have that "blue" tinge like everyone other ultra white light.

very nice m8
Hey guys, tiny update cause i dont have time for this car anymore, but decided it was time for some ssls,
this was the first hour of them being in:

http://img541.imageshack.us/i/img0058nr.jpg/
http://img854.imageshack.us/i/img0063l.jpg/
Since then it has settled some more and looks a lot better in stance (excuse the stockie'd rear), i can bearly make it up my own driveway, which has a very shallow entrance so..haha, a bit low. But that's ok!

Haha, yeah..so you think.
I could go through the problems something shocking here:
Diff im pretty sure is on the way out
It has a driveline rattle
Its an auto thats not very immediate (needs a t5 asap, ic ant stand autos)
Engine has many, many leaks of oil and coolant variety
Has a head gasket on its way out
The exhaust has a big leak
Exhaust is wonky and is bent and the tips are stuffed
The paint has 1000 chips and chunks, roof and boot rust and extreme sun damage and fade
Engine has stuff all go
Thats summarised, too.
Im looking at a new car, hopefully would be wanting to get rid of most of those problems with minimal cost and sell it for $3300 ono w/rwc & rego
Was looking at a VZ Thunder ute or something, would have to be a 6 though, grr. But at least a manual, or i could settle for a decently km'd VX s pack manual in black aha
