My stock VR Executive Auto. Only cost me $510 so I cannot complain.
The only thing I changed was the rims which are now 17' alloys.
The main thing I want to do is clean up the paint work and fix the antenna not sure what else I could for now.
If anyone has some suggestion of what MODS I could add then feel free to post them....

I know my car suxs, but does anyone have any tips on how to improve it?
Lower the suspension and put an SS lower part of the body kit ( front lower bumper , side skirts and rear lower bumper ) . Maybe some calais tail lights as well .
Cheers Mick .
HOLDEN. Not just a car . But a way of life !
It's in the blood and deep in the heart !
mate, it doesn't suck.
it's your car and you love it, that's why your on a forum and not some idiot who doesn't give two shits about your car.
it has potential mate.
i would say, lower it, calais tailights, ss front kit and a catback exhaust for a nice sound.
yeah mate stick with it, commodores are good cars, do a few mods to your liking she'll be sweet as!
If all else fails HIT IT WITH A HAMMER !
Country Ute.
this doesnt suck man, the rims suit it i recon
$510 is a pretty randem price though, hang on let me get the extra ten from my sisters piggy bank haha
im guessing ebay? and seems like a pretty good deal for the condition it looks like it in, a few engine mods and mabey lowered would be a great start then work from there
Yeah I got it via eBay lol. Even though there is no rust from what I can see there is scratches on nearly every panel. You do not notice it from a distance.
I have been looking for a pair of Calais taillights with no luck so far. Plus I feel an ss kit would look rather good too. Before I brought it the original owner had lowered shocks and springs on it. But removed it and sold them separate on eBay
And yeah I am thinking of a catback exhaust but I think it would increase the fuel usage?
a catback will not even make a dent in your fuel usage mate, not even in the slightest.
it is a relatively cheap mod with a huge gain for the sound of your car, go grab a few quotes and get it done.
Yea Exhaust 2.5inch, Air intake, Suspension (Std or lowered) Slotted front brake rotors, got my exhuast of Ebay for $180 fits perfect and sounds good, not notice in fuel usage either. Got the crome tip for $20 and looks good, Still have back pressure and nice sound between 2000 - 3500 rpm
Mace have some good little upgrades you can do, Mostly the air intake for a little amount of money. They have an Ebay store and could save 20 - 50 compared to there site.

nice pickup dude, i'd take the tow bar off if you can (unless using it) and lower a bit mate![]()
There's nothing wrong with your car mate.. My mate just bought one in worse condition for 2 grand. Your well in front...
Id just start by lowering it. You can hunt around for some lowered springs on here or have a poke around on ebay.
What id suggest is to have a look at some members rides of the same model and see what takes your fancy and decide weather or not its affordable to do.
PS, nice ride!
Definately pacemaker extractors into 2 1/2 inch![]()
Good pick up mate.
