Quick update
Did a blue LED dash conversion job on my VS looks pretty good i think there were cold spots around the 0 RPM area and the 220km/h area so i had to wire in 2 new LEDs... So now theres hot spots in those areas haha but it looks much better than the cold spots and you can notice as much irl. Overall i think it turned out pretty good. The LCD screens are pretty easy to do i made my own facias aswell as putting in blue globes I also did my gear display too i still have to sort out the 'R' tho.. Let us know what you think.
I also picked up some rear king superlows on the weekend some im just chasing the rear shocks and some front springs if any1 could help me out that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
Also do you need new front shocks if you replace the stock springs with say superlows?
Heres some pics

Nice, looks really good. how'd you go about making your own facias, doing the needles & the lcds?

Hey Nathan
For the facias i went down to office works and bought a writing book with a blue transparent cover on it lol it cost me about 2 bucks, then i took out the old green facias that were in there and cut the same sized peices out of my book cover. I used about four cut outs per LCD screen i think just because i wanted a dark blue. Then i put it all back together and the normall globes made my LCDs blue but it had kind of a wierd tinge to it because of the actual colour of the LCD.( If you look at your LCDs during the day or with your lights off its that coloul.. sort of a yellowy grey/green). It still looked pretty good tho but i wasnt happy with it so i bought some Blue globes off EBay to replace the standard ones behing the LCD's and it took away that tinge and now they look much better. all up it cost me about $15 for the globes and book haha. And for the blue needles i just rubbed off the orange with nail polish remover and put a thing layer of white nail polish over it so you can see it well during the day and it lights up blue at night because of the globes
car is now lowered![]()
put up some pics man.

Hey GIB38L sorry about the late reply. Na you cant use the manual rails with the caprice seats because they are electric, but if you get a hold of some caprice seats the electrics are fairly easy to wire up. another thing is that only 3/4 of the rail bolts line up when you put the electrics ones in, but i just drive around with 3 in and it doesn't rattle or rock :P. Good luck with it
