Hey,
Thought I'd finally put some pics up of my Statesman. Bought her in December with 193k kms on the clock, got my licence in March.
Cost me an absolute fortune in repairs, cos the bloke who had it before me was a half-arse but I only realised this as I pulled the car apart.

Anyway, I pretty much bought it like this. I tinted the tail lights myself a few months ago, but I took the tint off the day after I took these photos (last week!). The stereo is new too, just a couple of Xplod 6x9s and Xplod splits in the front with a Kicker amp and a baby 350w Kicker sub.

Future mods include hopefully a VS II Statesman tail light and garnish set up, maybe lower it some more and replace the 2-inch exhaust with a 2.5 or similar.









Any other cosmetic or interior mod suggestions? I'm still at school, so preferably cheap ones lol

i reckon a good dark tint would make it look alot meaner, and also maybe go down to vicroads and get slimline black and white number plates. i just changed my plates over from the big standard ones and it looks alot nicer. i kept the same rego number so it cost about $120 or something.

sorta makes the plates not stand out as they are just so in your face normally.

i think they took about a week. i went for dark plates because my car is a dark colour.

I thought about tinting my lights, but wasnt sure. The missus wants me to lol.

ohhh, don't do it! lol
it always looks dirty, and when you get sick of it the only way to get rid of it that i know of is to sand it off :S lol i think i've absolutely rooted my lights now ahahahaha
