my vs111 "s" ute

its a 98 model 3.8 litre auto and it came optioned with an LSD
so far iv put a 2.5 inch catback sports exhaust, new sound system - pioneer head unit with 6 inch speakers in the doors and kenwood 7x10's under the seats in boxes.
halfway through putting in cup holders next to the handbrake.
next on the list is new wheels and lose the canopy
will upload photos tomorrow in the light

Sounds like a pretty nice ute. Look forward to seeing some pics! Whats the sound like with the woofers under the seats? Are you planning on losing the canopy altogether or putting on a hard lid?

the cup holders arent quite finished yet, atm they still just holes next to the handbrake.... guna use speaker ports to finish the off but probs guna have to special order them for size il keep ya posted.
not sure about the canopy atm.... its pretty handy having it coz i can lock my surfboards or tools in it but its #### ugly.
the woofers under the seat go sick! they'd go heaps better with an amp but still put out good bass

cup holders are a great idea gets so annoying not having any but my electric window buttons are in that spot

yeh cut them with a hole saw then just cleaned them up witha file and sandpaper. lost licence for 6 months last year mate u knew that!!! lol

hey guys update on the beast.
canopy is gone!
put 17inch vt ss rims on,
took out the 7x10's and put a slimline sub in custom box under the passenger seat,
installed a otr cold air intake amd high flow filter,
and installed a gps over the digital speedo thing
next on the list is window tint, and painting the dash etc.

sub was $130 on sale at jb absolute bargain!
yeh cup holders are finished ended up using some aluminium pipe that i found in the garage and painting the inside and plugging the bottom with some ply, finished the top of with some rubber but gonna change the top when i paint the console. il get some more pics up some
