hi guys im new to the forum and just got myself a vs 5speed.here it is:

Name: blake

Model: 1996 VS Series II Exec w/ factory manual. It came stock with V5W country pack suspension, no airbags, no ABS, sump guard, fuel tank guard, 16” VR clubby replicas, tow bar, and somewhere along the way picked up a high performance LSD.

Colour: MASAI RED PERL

Odometer: 120,XXX when I got it (september 2010)

Bodykit: VS clubsport spoiler (gone i hate wings)

Engine Type: 3.8 litre v6

Engine Mods:
K&N pod filter
bosch leads
NGK iridium spark plugs
performace chip

Exhaust: 2.5" catback exhaust with chrome tip

Gearbox: stock 5 speed manual

Diff: Fully rebuilt LSD

Power: Untested

Brakes: stock

Suspension: King springs super lows in rear, stock up front,monroe gt shocks all round, nolathane rubbers all round

Wheels/Tyres: 17" Vy SS with pirelli rubber

Interior: Saas peals , saas gear knob and holden seat covers.

Sound System: Work in progress, Pioneer head unit with custom ipod dock, fusion 350w 6x9’s in rear, kicker 6” 300w in the front, with pioneer 12” sub in custom box. Will be running 2 amps, one for front and rear speakers, another for the subs.only 1 pioneer 760w 4 channel at the moment

Other Mods: vs ss bodykit just missn the rear bumper lip

Future Mods: paint centre console,vt ss seats f/r,tweeters in the front,get a rear ss lip for bumper,cut and polish,front superlow king springs,paint brake calipers,get a just commodores sticker

verrrry nice, that was a good pick up bud

reomove them mud flaps, de badge it and take those orange blinkers off and replace them with VT clear ones =) will look smiko then bud

hi guys i gave it a wash and got sum new pis of the inside and engine bay and installed 2 kicker 6 " speakers in the front doors.my mate wants to swap mags hes gone a set of ve ss rims that r black with silver perl.wat do yas reckon?

i have updated for a bit but i was driving home on the freeway and wen i got home in the driveway i noticed i had no rear skirt and half a front skirt lol so i got rid of the rest of the kit.i was gunna get sum vt clear indicators but i decided to tint the stock ones instead.i also tinted the front and rear lights and got a interior light off a statesman with map lights.i lowerd the front to match the rear and got sum new fusion 6x9s from work for $20 which i was pretty happy with.heres sum pics but ill get some more wen it stops raining.i also am looking at swapping my vy wheels for sumthing different and have been offered 2 different types.which ones do yas reckon.cheers

how big are the chrome wheels? The bottom wheels aren't VE wheels either they look like BBOSS elenors? or a copy of those wheels, but i think they would looks tops on your car.
There's a skyline a tafe with those wheels and its a similar colour to Go with the bottom one's

there both 18"wheels. i got a photoshop done and the chromies look a bit better but my mates got a bmw with the bboss wheels and it looks sick.now im thinkn of just puttn some silver stockies on and gettn a set of 1.98 high ratio rockers and a memcal and ive just bought sum extractors so that should give the commo sum more balls.
