Yeah. Stops you dropping shit into it, or it falling into it...
Just use some painters tape (the stuff that doesn't leave a residue and comes off easy) over the ports
thanks for the kind wordsbut you should also know, the engine was F*%ked. so i was using it as a mock up to weld and grind around and such. so it didnt matter too much if dirt n stuff got in. iv got a VT block going in after it gets a freshen up with new rings n bearings.
tossing up wether or not to go a little further with it...
my initial plan was to put it together as cheaply as is humanly possible purely for a daily/tow car. but now im earning a little more money, i could possibly go a little deeper in the power department. but i feel that once i start theres no real end so where do i draw the line?
at the end of the day, i think i just want to build it as cheap as possible and then sell it to fund a 4wd like a landcruiser or something.... or maybe i should just give in and buy a 5.0 for it? but would that be a pain of a conversion?
i have an update. small one, but still. got my rear skirt today. so i now have a complete body kit. needs some adjustment but you get the idea. i do know what its off, and i know most of you will think that its sacrilage, BUT I LIKE IT! so keep any negative comments to yourself please. constructive sure, but please, keep it tasteful
enjoy.

would look good with a smoothed tailgate. and what turbo are you running?
i would like to smooth the gate actually. i should probly look at how its done. my issue would be with opening it once its smooth.....
and the turbo is a T25 off a CA18. intentionally small.
Aww yeah. and for the smoothed gate, you could have the lock behind the lion badge, so the lion flips around to show the lock, kind of like on S13 silvias. if that makes sense lol
im officially over it. so if anyones interested...
