not bad, not bad at all. Just get the paint sorted and some nicer wheels and it'll be sweet!

What plans do you have for it?

Is there anything majorly wrong with it, or is it just the locks?

Very nice mate, i remember back in the 90's our family car was a VS Berlina haha.
What's on the cards for her mate?
I would invest in an exhaust and lowering first.

    haha thanks boys

with the doors they make a wierd noise when locking and unlocking and one of the back doors wont lock with the button, so i have to lock it by hand, but it unlocks with the button so i guess its not to bad, just when my friends suss my car out the first thing they hear is the noise the doors make unlocking which doesnt sound to healthy haha, and nah nothing majorly wrong so fare which is great
and yeah for future mods i've been thinking of lowering and new rims, sound system, exhaust and engine mods and just fix small things with the car (some of the paint, most of its great exept some of the clear coat, and some tints starting to go a little bubbley) and as for rims in the photos those rims kinda just look like dodgey hub caps on stockies or something but thats because the suns hitting them, but there actually pretty cool rims that are in really good condition, haha "nothing wrong with the vs berlina rims", hmmm you wouldnt happen to have the same ones would you?hahahaha , but i think they look pretty sick but soon might get some new ones if anything comes along, but for now there alright

anyways as for updates its only a day old so not alot, but i was pretty excited and gave it a little service, replaceing the oil and oil filter, and just gave the interior a good clean, was going to peal of all the old tint on the back windows because its starting to go bubbley, but i might just leave it for now, and yeah cars running great and lifes good haha

long time no update but i now have all my sound system stuff ready to throw in, i have two 12" sony explode subs and a fusion amp and a 4 guage wireing kit, i also have a clarion headunit and clarion rear speakers, ive also done a fair few other smaller things to the car aswell like new wool seat covers that are pretty expensive but i got them of my nan and pop who won them at the rsl markets haha and cleaned up the front vent things, they were grey and peeling and looked dodgey but got some paint remover onto them and there now a shiny chrome, i got some before and after pics of them, quick and easy thing to do that looks a million times better, also i got the rear speakers in im just waiten to have the time for the rest of the sound system

well got some photos of the head unit and sub, im not sure of the specs of everything but the headunit is clarion, so are the rear speakers, the sub is a 1000watt sony explode, which i always hear bad things about but mabey they have bad wireing or something cause even the one sub goes hard(havn't put the other one in yet i dont know if i even need it haha) the wireing is a 4 guage wireing kit and the amp is a fusion one, im not sure of the rms or watts exactly, but yeah just a few small things to fix up but then im done, was kinda worryied that the climate control and the power airial wasnt going to work with the new system but everythings still in tact haha, big thanks to my mate adrian and anyone on jc that helped with my questions

little while no update, havn't really had the funds to do the things I've wanted to, but got my exhaust done today, I already wanted it done and then when I noticed it was begining to hang off I decided I would get it done haha, it sounds alright I guess, and I also removed all the dodgy window tint on the car and put my other sub in, but im getting sick off them and wanna get rid of them, also little while ago I needed 3 idle pullies and the started moter replaced which was a little hefty, here's a randem photo of my car, and hopefully more updates coming soon

well today got stuck into my clear coat issues and fixxed it up the best i could and it turned out alright, matches pretty well and is pretty hard to tell the differnce and will hopefully look better with a buff or sand, did the bonnet which was a massive patch all the way to the front window and did the big dodgey boot bits aswell but only have bonnet photos which dont show it to well because there not the best quality

hey mate, nice car. just wondering if you got the issues with the locking fixed? cause one of my locks has started playing up lately, it has to be locked by hand now, haha.

thanks mate, nah i havnt yet, yeah one of my doors is a hand locked now to haha, i started a thread asking for help in the vr-vs help section and got told to spray wd-40 on the actuators(behind the door skins) but havnt gotten around to it yet, but im fairly sure the actuator needs replacing, i've helped a mate do one on his car before there not that hard to do and is a $20 part from the wreckers, im gonna try tackle it tomorrow with some spray and see if it comes good, if not too the wreckers i go haha, ill let you know what i end up doing, anyways here's some boot before and after shots, still needs a buff but will hopefully come up better once i do

just thought id let you know i replaced the actuator in my car the other day and it fixed the problem. didnt take long either. thanks for the advice.

also im not sure if its just the photo but it looks like your headunit is sticking out a bit, mine was like that the first time i installed it then i looked on the forums and found out that you need to drill new holes in the brackets for fit to sit flush, didnt take long and made the interior look alot neater.

good to hear mate ill get on my doors soon..one day haha
and yeah i already knew i had to redrill the brackets when i put it in(read it on here in the how to put a headunit in), but since i didnt have the messurments on where to drill when i was doing it i just threw it in, but since that photo ive takin it out to get the old rca's from my subs out and when i put it back in it sat much better without drilling
