Well here is the New daily....... as some of you know i had the white VL Turbo, well i Swapped that for this Ute........

Engine: 185i 5 Litre from a Senator with stage 2 Cam.
Exhaust: Stcok with jsut a hotdog out the back
Gearbox: T5 5 Speed Manual
Diff: Stock 3.08.1 LSD
Wheels: VR SS Wheels
Sterio: JVC Touch screen head unit, Splits (Not sure on brand) Pioneer Amp.

Extras: Hard lid, Cruise, Electrics, SRS Airbags,

Future Mods:
Not too much, Set of silver interceptors with caps and dress trims, Change the carpet, and maybe raise it up abit more.

Hahah Got to put a new clutch in it 1st as it cam with a clutch that slips like a mofo.......

Yer VL is still the same, had some kent smaash the window on it last week, ill update that thread also

Anyway got a little material happy and started covering some of my interior plastics........... what i did was the Center Console, "A" Pillers, Kick Panel's and Door handle Cover all of which came out much much better then expected.......

Also brought some new things which are a 3" exhaust system, Genie Extractors, and new engine mounts along with the gear box mount.

Some good news and Some bad news.....

Good new is i got my Exhaust System and it is now on the car....... has a nice sounding note but it will be going a little more louder soon......

Here is the old crappy home made exhaust that was chocking the poor old 5 litre



And here is the 3" System, big difference it made too.





Bad news is, the ute is up for a new engine or rebuild, after doing a service on it i found metal shavings is the oil, so that was an indication of something going wrong it was just a matter of time when it was ganna let go......... and that was friday moring going to work........ what a SOB!

Bit of a little update on the ute....... i got this carpet months ago but never got around to putting it in untill today........... the carpet was from a sedan so i had to cut it to fit, Looks 100% better then that poxy black after market crap you buy off ebay that never fits right...........

Hey guys, bit of an update seeing as i was still in the buffing mood after doing Rees machine i decided to do mine also, so i gave it a cut using Meguiars Fine-Cut Cleaner with the buffer, then i used Meguiars Cleaner Wax. Fantastic products and not only do they work well that smell good too :P

Ill have another Up-date tonight when i get home from going to Blackburn South to get the New Heart for the Ute........

well today i sold the vl which was sad to see it go but it made room for bigger better things

so as soon as the guy picked up the vl gave me the cash i went straight to blackburn and picked up my brand new supercharged 5ltr with forged pistons, mild head work, cam, C.O.M.E. racing twin throttle body manifold, powerflow supercharger, chipped tuned computer and intercooler (no piping)

Hey guy's today i polished the fuel rail seeing as the top of the manifold is Polished i thought id tidy it up and make it look right with the rest of the engine.

Oh and a pic of the mouth on the charger just to show how big she really is........

Today, i started to disassemble the old engine sitting in the ute........... got the loom out so i could put in on the new motor to see what plugs needed to be extended to suit it having the C.O.M.E Racing Manifold...... Easy job, i also took the time to hide the injector plugs also an easy job that really makes it look neat..........

This payday ill be getting the High Energy sump for it and will get the Oil Return line welded into that.......





1 of the 3 Plugs that needed to be re-wired.






All taped up and ready to be ran to it's location.


2nd Plug that was to the Throttle Body.


All taped up also.


Now for the Injector plugs...... A pic of them out in the open for viewers to see......(not the best to look at........)


Now they are all hidden and make that part so much neater.........


And just to show you where they have been ran so they look hidden.

Parbs, I used the material from an old roof lining i had from a commie, to do the center console i drilled holes all along the lines of the console so the material would tuck down and fold under it giving it that neat finish, hav a look at the pic's you can see hoe iv drilled the holes in it......................

Yer last night and this morning/today i was on on it, last night i was at the stage of just undoing the front half of the car also seeing the old engine was still sitting in the bay i decided to dummy fit the charger to see how much clearance i had between the charger and the body............. then this morning i did was was left which was tail-shaft, gearbox mount, and then it was ready to be lifted out.

When i was lifting the engine out i saw just how bad the rear main seal leak was.............. as soon as the engine was tilted with the back of the motor facing the ground the oil just started poring out like a tap....... Engine mounts OMFG, the worst iv ever seen, it was lucky the motor was still sitting in the right place, the rubbers were completely ripped apart in half.........

Anyway got a few goodies coming tomorrow/tonight.....

Hey guys did abit more work to it.............

I got my darling wife to take me down to autObarn to get some more electrical tap so i was able to tape the looms again just to tidy it up, not hiding the wiring just yet, it will get done but later on down that track when the new motor is built, but i also got the engine bay all cleaned and rubbed back and masked up ready to be painted....... when eva the weather is nice thats when it will be getting painted......

Well today after a long day at work the day was just going to become longer....... Got my darling wife to drive me to my 2nd Home, autObarn........ got a few prices on things and brought some paint to tidy up under the back end on the car ready for the new diff.

Got a Price on a Excedy Clutch for the Ute, iv decided to go with the Sports Tuff Heavy Duty Cushion Button Clutch, Part No: GMK-6334HDCB thats setting me back $709.00 Gunna put it on layby next week. also got on order are new belts and hoses for the motor...........and i also got my Boost Gauge too.

Got my High Energy Sump today, was a little excited to see it on the chair when i got home.............. That will be getting painted Black and then put onto the Engine soon.....

I also put the diff in the ute today........ so she now has a LSD that seems very tight and with 3.9's it should be a bit of fun..... heres some pic's

Well got another K-frame today......... as soon as i got it home i got the drill out with a wire brush bit for the drill and started cleaning it, getting all the dirt and oil of it

what a mess but it came out how i wanted................ nice and clean...

Once it was all cleaned, it was time to give it a coat of Gloss Black Paint......

Started to line up where i want the Intercooler to sit......... just seeing it through the front bar makes it look tuff...........

And i also cleaned the hard lid as it was dirty and loosing its colour...........

Bit of a update.......... Was going to get the new front suspension this week but iv brought another car instead (needed on)

Yer i do but mostly i like my stuff clean when it goes back in......... hate putting dirty stuff back into the car.

Anyway got my fittings from AutObarn and started to set up the engine getting eveing thing fitted and making sure it all fits and works........

Engine bay, Tailgate and the Bumperettes will be getting painted this Saturday comming, one the bay is painted then i can start putting everything back in the bay.

Well today my m8 Craig come ova and we got the Engine painted in the Ute........... looking pretty good now, Next Stage is to rub the bay back with some 2000 and then give it a polish......... Will take some pic's when we do that (Next Week) once thats done everything else can start going back to its home..........
