Shit I must have missed it by skipping a lot of the cars inside the racecourse. Looks good, would have been keen to see the engine bay. I really like this colour and I'm jelly of his paint. I think it needs Calais taillights, rims less common than pentagons, and some chrome window surrounds lol. Pretty sweet though. Oh and don't worry about the thread jacking I don't care lol

yeah the tails are coming he was just rushed to get it to nats. The paint looks great in person, and as for the engine bay, its nothing special just a 3.8 buick at the moment, untill he puts the other engine in, but yeah its nice, i would love some chrome window surrounds and he wanted some too but they are rare these days.

but yeah, i love the low on big rims, really makes a statement, just thought id show you, cause im always keen to see a fellow vr-s so i thought youd be keen

Haha yeah the chrome window trims shouldn't be too hard to find

Anyways, here's what I've been up to:

Foggies are mounted but not wired up, I'll post some pics once they are done. Sub and amp are in, sounds much better now, I've got a few pics of that. And realised why my handbrake didn't work; I didn't tighten the spreader thingy that sits between the handbrake shoes Fixed now lol.

Yeah I'll get a pic of the foggies soon, I'm pretty proud of them, I wasn't sure how they'd look but turned out really well.

brad 3384 are you going diy with your sound system?

Do you have access to a air compressor?
Try and find the drain line and blow into it with an air gun.

    haha, whatever works i guess

naa im not going DIY i bought all the stuff from lifestyle car audio and they are going to do an install which is supposed to be really professional and stock looking so yeah, plus if anything stuffs up on their behalf they replace it for free, so i thought it would be a good idea

    Get pics upp!

Ah ok, thanks I'll give that a try.

Ok fine here you go lol.

Also my poor baby had a sickup today...dead water pump. I've just fitted a new one but ran out of light so I'll fill and bleed the cooling system tomorrow morning. Also, I may possibly (hopefully) have an overdue update tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

    Update:

Took her for a 1200km odd trip to the coast, went great until nearing home when it started running at stopped in traffic temp on an open road doing 80, developed a ticking sound mid rev range, and a loose, rattly sound in the rear end. Hm probably should have got off my ass today and tried to work out why but ah well. Guessing the rattle is something loose, dno what the other things are.

    Have some pics lol

    Update:
All problems solved Can't say that too often lol. All turned out to be loose extractors...guess ol' mate didn't tighten them up when he fitted them. Ah well lol, fixed now, and an easy fix too so I can't complain, better than a lifter or something like I thought haha.

Also gave Davies Craig a call about my leaky thermo cap, and John (the dude that answered) was awesome. Just said send it back and he'll replace it straight away and apologised a heap. So yeah, pretty awesome customer service there.

In other news, last day of my current job today, so that means I should be saving monies...not sure how that will go lol. And I start my pre-apprenticeship automotive course on Monday, how exciting Would you believe there's even a cute girl in my class?
