i was thinking about de badging it, and yeah i know she sits abit high atm, ive got king springs for it in the shed tho
i have put an ECOTEC V6 in, i now have vt spac mags, but not for long and have put the chrome strips around the windows.
opinions on wether it looks better with the stock bonnet or the group a scoop ??
cheers
Will post pics soon
Stock bonnet for sure, the scoop looks outta place on it in my opinin...
+1 for stock bonnet
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
+ 2 for stock bonnet..
you should start looking at painting / designing your interior...
was the engine swap easy? you should upload more pics
Hope you treat this one niceley
cheers

looks like 3 for stock bonnet so far; i was thinking it looks a lil outta place too..
the engine swap wasnt the easiest thing ive done, some parts where a bit of a pain..
ill add some more pics pre soon..
and i will deffo treat it nicely lol
cheers
what do you mean by designing my interior >? lol
im not too sure about painting it coz its not 100% my taste lol
i would go with the stock bonnet aswell, nice base to start with nice and clean maybe if you dont want to paint bits just replace them with maybe stato bits or from other models
im in the process of painting my interior black, and its a bit of a pain in the ass and very time consuming. its definitely not for everyone
Hahaha you're damn right there mate, how far are you going with it? I got abit excited with mine and did white everything, whole dash, center console, pillars, roof lining & parcel shelf
Also fitted VT seats front & rear, it's worth the frustration in the end, 100x more comfy.
I'll show you a pic of the interior if you want?
Alright then here's some pics, photobucket is down for maintenanceso i've had to attach them....
Executives FTW! hahaha
Woah looks good but probably a bit too bright for me haha would defintely distract me too much while driving :P
And yea, you got enough air fresheners in there mate? Haha![]()
Haha I was thinking just that, would be shining off everything in that car straight into your eyes hahaha!
With painting the plastic do you have to apply like a clear coat over the top to stop the colour from being scratched off or what's the go?
Hahaha yes, vey.. very painfull.
With the plastics, they're just straight gloss 2pak paint, so no need for clear coating.
Im a spraypainter apprentice so I got it done properly & free![]()
Good starter car good luck with it mate.
