Ok so i pulled the diff out and i have striped about 3/4 of the teeth of my crown wheel. Other than that the inside looks good so it should only need to be cleaned out and my new gears put in. More bad news tho as i found my cradle has started to crack above the diff housing so i need to get that repaired befor i can put the diff back in.
This afternoon had a mate come round and welded up the cradle so one job down. The diff goes in tomorrow to get the new gears in and to make sure there are no nasties in the lsd itself.
So the diff is back in. Got the lsd reshimed and its all good. And then the centre bearing went in the tailshaft. Got that fixed today so now its all sorted.
Ok so t wasnt the centre bearing that was broken it was actually the yoke and uni joint. But its all good now.car drives heaps better. The 3.9s make a nice change to taking off.

Wanted something to do on the senator so i decided to put in some heavy duty link pins. the rubbers were starting to perish anyway so thought it would be a good time to do it. And the manual is staring to crunch abit going into third so i think that will need fixing soon
Went driving in the senator last night. was all good till i found a nice puddle of coolant under the car. checked it out today and found it to be the water pump. so pump is out. new one will go in tomorrow.
Ok so new water pump is in and now its all good again. no more leaks.
Little bit of an update. Hopefully in a couple of weeks the senator should get some roller rockers and blue top injectors which should give it a few more kws.

Any change in tune (richer etc) with the blue tops?
It seams ok but i am going to get zac (drift it)to check the tune for me. will probably need to hit up the1 for a retune when the roller rockers go in tho
Small update. new starter motor put in as the old one was about to stop working. and hopefully the roller rockers will be installed soon.
So the senator is booked in to get the roller rockers installed on tuesday. Cant wait. excited to see how it will go.
Ok so roller rockers are installed and i had the intake manifold gasket fixed as there was leak. found out the bolts for it were all loose as was the dizzy. all good now. just needs a retune.
