My VS Wagon project, Stato front, soon to be orange!

just thort id chuck up a thread for my wags, ive had it for a few months after i sold my vr (witch i now own again).
anyways, heres some details.
Colour: white
Engine: ecotec
Engine mods: stock as a rock
Suspension: not sure
Brakes: vt twin front brake upgrade
Exhaust: round
Wheels: 18" speedy adrenalin
Interior: vr statesman front seats stock back
Stereo: pioneer headunit
two US audio subs
pioneer 6X9's
front splits
when i first got it,




then the motor decided to let go, so i took the chance the pain the bay while it was out.

Looks good mate! Those rocker covers are almost ad good as my ones will look sweet in orange

thanks guys, still a fair bit of work to go to make it perfect. but it will get there.

it was just a dodge job to make it look a little bit cleaner untill i paint it orange.
ive since replaced the rear passenger door, i still need 3 more doors and a tail gate to finish of the panel work. then ill paint the jams.

gonna keep the 1/4 2 tone as i wrecked a vr statey so i have all the mould and stuff for it. i'm also going to shave the tail gate, and put a series 3 lip on the rear bar, and put the statey numberplate bezzel in it.

Very interesting... nice work on the engine bay and rocker covers. Very rarely do you see ecotec rocker covers and think "hey cool" but you've managed just that.

Can't wait to see this in orange but just one opinion from me, caprice grille!

With the rocker covers. I was going to paint just the grooves orange, but I couldn't get enough paint in there to make it look good, so I just did the top instead. I'm happy with how they look now.
I'm going to get a caprice grill, but funds are needed elsewhere at the moment.

Not going with the statesman number plate thing, just gonna have an ss rear lip and a numberplate box plastic welded into the bar on the right. Might go buy a stateman number plate thing actually and experiment with it

nothing has really happened with this, but ive priced up all the parts i need, and it wont be too long till i get them all.
but the only thing i have done to it is chuck on one of my old steering wheels off my old vn, and i found out the last person to put the on steering wheel was and absolute dumbshit, and hit the bolt/shaft with a hammer, causing it to wreck the thread. so I've done a bit of a temporary fix. but i need a new steering colum, and im not happy as i sent a vs to scrap before i noticed it, and now its going to cost me more to buy a steering colum than it got for the car

None, except my son is going to have a go at painting some door handles for it. I also have two front doors for it, but they'll be painted white, and the car wont be orange for a loong time, as I'm closing my shop.
