i picked this up back in september 09 for a daily driver. it was stock other than a dirty cat back exhaust, venetian, lowered and a faded bonnet with a knock in the bottem end on cold starts. but less than 3 months later the inlet manifold gasket let go, instead of replacing it i thought it was time for a rebuild. thats where it got out of control and 5 months later it was back on the road as this

cheers mate, yeh she does ok but its still being held back from the stock inlet manifold, fuel system and tune... the seats a pure sex, one of the best investments iv ever made on a car
thanks bud, its got a note of its own thats for sure. i love it!!haha yeh im a fan of the good old factory 2 tone, pretty happy i got the anthrecite cause its my favorite of the VR. just like silver slate is my favorite VL colour and i was lucky enough to find that aswell

The seats I got from a bloke who was having his car repossessed, i paid $1500 for front and back seats aswell as matching door cards!!!

Haha cheers, yeh most people in Bendigo have seen (or heard) it around as it had been my daily driver for the last 10 months but it's been retired from daily duties now, only comes out for a cruise on the odd occasion nowalthough I'm thinking I might drive it to work tomoro lol
Na never had it at a skid pan day, a few people have said it made a quick appearance on the c4c DVD so u may have seen it on there?

well smashed the 1 and only chambered muffler on S1NGLE!! Took it in to Ed's Exhaust and had the boys raise the whole system and weld in a straight thru muffler... YEAH BABY!!! Sounds awesome but iv got a feeling A defect won't be far off hahaha
The t700 is starting to slip slightly into 3rd so Adam at ATS is building me a tuff t400, going a 4500 stall to this time![]()

4L60E auto with stall but has started to slip into 3rd (only slightly). Box also has a stage 2 shift kit. Auto was supposedly rebuilt prior to me buying the car but no paperwork was supplied, car has done 20,000km since I purchased. stall has only done 10,000km and cost me just shy of $1k
Stall converter is a TCT 3000rpm with lockup and anti ballooning plate, done 10,000km behind my 304 as a daily driver, 3 passes at the track and that's all!!
Box will be out of the car within the next month, although car is no longer daily so can remove earlier if needed... Will also come with standard torque converter in like new condition

Finished work today and raced home to grab S1NGLE to get it out to a dyno day held by Tonys Turbo Tuning @ Precision Clutch and Brake!!
Wasn't to fazed with what power it was making but more as to what the air fuel ratio was like... Rich as a mofo hahaha just like I thought...
So stock top end (exept roller rockers and valve springs) and running rich enough to fuel another car behind it she made 190rwkw/254rwhp, 557Nm of torque @ 134km!!
I was pretty happy considering, bring on the new box, manifold setup and tune
