My 1996 VS executive :)
Alright, so this is my VS.
I will get around to posting pics up later.
Its pretty bare at the moment, so please. Bare with me.
Also had to replace the engine in it, I blew a rod out the side of the block, you could fit your fist in it.
Also, pantha mica in colour, gorgeous!
Mods (right now are pretty light but within a few month or so it'll be a long list.)
- 2.5 sports exhaust.
- Professionally lowered springs, using an angle grinder hahahah.
- Full VS SS interior.
- Full 5sp T5 conversion.
- 4x 240w fusion splits, pioneer head unit, with 2x12'' subs and a 1000w amp.
Mods to come.
- Pacemaker Extractors.
- Performance chip.
- Cold air intake.
-18''-19'' rims.
- 3'' exhaust into a 2.5''. (Best sound out of a VS)
- Full Alpine sound system, 8x6'' splits, head unit, 2x12'' 1200w subs, 2x1000w amps. With a custom box made for the boot to maximize space.
- SSL springs for the rear, eventually a full coilover kit.
- VS SS bodykit.
- Maybe a supercharger when i hit my last year of green P's, or full license.

Yes, I know I will get critizied and singled out, but hey. Thats your choice, its my car, not yours, your opinion does matter to me, but it also doesnt, so feel free to say what you want, its fine by me. Be nice, be mean. I'm not fussed

Now, also just ordered a gauge pod for the A pillar.
Including some 52mm gauges for it,

Hey mate what kind of spring have you got in the front?
Mate, I honestly have no idea what springs they are, im about to put some superlows up front with ultras in the back though.
Its got cut springs in the rear, and not sure on the fronts.

picked up my new rims last night, (VY SS 18'') with decent tread. for a whole $70 hahaha

Very nice score. I like those rims they're simple yet nice.
They should look mint on the car too. Don't forget to post pics when they're on.
One thing check the chamfer on the nuts if they didn't come with new ones. I think the steel ones are different to the alloy ones
i only managed to scrape up 2 of them, so ill be keeping the stockies on the rear. haha. bendigo cops will be all over me.
and yeah no worries, my mate (who i brought them off) has the exact same car and he had these on it no problem,
so hopefully it should be all good.
How do you guys in oz get on with cutties? 90% of the time here people paint them yellow and tell the cops they're kings. Cops are too dumb to know the difference.
But we have 6 monthly warrants so people have to swap them back.
where i live, one of the cops will slap a defect on your car for almost anything. i bought it with them in it, im picking up my new springs and shockers on monday to throw in.
its a hell of a bumpy ride with the cut ones in it too. hahaha.
Update, - All parts have arrived
went and picked up my springs and shocks today.
2 1/2 redback catback and packmaker extractors.
all gonna be put on today sometime.
and clutch is fixed with the transmission back in the car
nice man, my first car was a vs, it was an ex cop car and man it bloody hammered for a 6. the lsd in it was nice too haha. i shouldnt have sold it

superlow springs sit quite high though :/

bad earth for my amp, no power at all. all fuses arent blown, get my mate whose an auto elec to take a looksie later today.

Job interview on tuesday for a high paying job,
hopefully will get it, and will be able to put 70% of earnings into this bad boy!

Also, going to find a VL thats in decent condition, and buy the whole turbo set-up and make it a weekend car for when I'm off my P's. Should be good.
