Thanks mate. I think nearly all the money I have earned I have put in to his car. Now I have another car haha. With the 0-140km/h video, I was holding the camera thats why it was unstable, also the roads are rough around my area so it made it harder to hold the camera steady.

Wasn't a fan of that colour till I saw yours, lol. Looks very nice mate, rims suit it well and the Calais grill inserts clean up the front end just that little bit more. Can't wait to see future mods.

Thanks mate. Most of the VR/VS Commodores that are painted this colour are faded, but mine has been garaged all its life plus some of it has been resprayed because of scratches. Car looks heaps better in real life. I will put up more pics as I do the mods, can't wait until its done.

Ordered the new front bumper bar, bezels, and fog lights today, genuine from Holden. Also got brand new genuine headlights and indicators ready to go in.

Thanks mate. I'm happy with the rims, it had 17 inch rims on it before the Caprice rims but I got sick of them and didn't really think they looked that good so I decided to try these rims and i'm glad I did. Not changing them now.

Well so much for getting a new front bumper bar. Got a call from Holden today and they said they can't get me one. I also missed out on a great deal, VS Calais Series 2 full leather seats (front and rear) and door trims with wood grain, in immaculate condition for $600 but they were sold before I even had the chance to contact the owner of them exact colour I wanted as well. Having bad luck in those areas.

On the positive side of things, I ordered velour sun visors and chrome interior door handles from a wreckers on eBay. Received them yesterday and its all immaculate, just the way i like it.

If anyone can help with full leather interior that will fit in this berlina (seats and door trims with woodgrain), it would be greatly appretiated. Also some advice on were to get a VS Calais Series 2 front bumper bar.

    Thanks guys.

More bad luck I guess. I replaced the real main seal and plate assembly (a few months ago), put the car on the hoist during the week and its leaking oil from behind the engine again. I asked my boss what he thought and he said that the crank shaft might be worn. All i'm hoping is that this engine lasts 2.5 more years because I can't put a L67 motor in until i'm off my P-Plates.

But still, I spent $600 to fix all the oil leaks and its still leaking. Not very happy about that.

Thanks mate. I could always try another Holden dealer but I have asked one about it and they said that they can no longer get a bumper bar because the company that was making them went broke or something. It is annoying because they said that they could get one, quoted me a price, and said that they will deliver it to where I work within 2 days. 2nd day comes and nothing arrives, so I give them a call and they say, "oh yeah I was going to ring you about that. The bumper bars are obsolete, but we can still get the fog lights and bezels". So I wasn't very happy with them for that.

Ill keep posting updates and photos so you can see the progress.

Thanks mate. Yeah thats what I like about this colour, theres not too many around, and the ones you do see in this colour are faded and don't look very nice anymore. Luckly mine was owned by an old guy who kept it garaged and didn't drive it much. Looked brand new when I bought it, now theres a few stone chips that I can't wait to get rid of.

UPDATE: Picked up my door trims yesterday and they did need a clean up, but now they look really good instead of old and full of dust and dirt.

Also, I have ordered Dynamat for the doors, so that should be delivered during the week. Then next weekend I will probably start pulling the old door trims off, installing the dynamat, and fitting the new door trims.

I was going to upload photos of the door trims yesterday but didn't get time because I was cleaning them up, so ill do that soon.

Also been looking hard to find a bumper bar, there has been a couple around but price was up too high (if you could get new ones for $180, why get a not so good second hand one for $250+).

One more update, took the car in on friday to get the L/H/F window tint fixed under warranty because it was peeling off. Looks good now.

    More updates soon.

Thanks mate, I bought the chrome door handles off ebay, they cost me $144 and came from a wreckers in Melbourne. Door trims I found on ebay as well and they cost me $120, but I had to go pick them up.

Yeah I just decided one day to buy the mesh and see what it looks like, and I thought it looked good so i left it. (Cost $20 from Repco). I had to pull off the front bumper bar to fit it.

As for the door trim lights. They are not working exactly how they should be. At the moment, the L/H/F, L/H/R, and R/H/R come on at the same time (when I open one of those doors, the 3 lights come on together) and the drivers door comes on seperately. I had to order another lens for the drivers door because I found out it was broken. Anyway, I wired the lights to the door switches and from what I understand, those wired are connected to the BCM, so theres no way of making them come on seperately unless I get double contact switches? (Mine has single). I'm not 100% sure what has to happen, I just don't want to stuff up my BCM by trying to make the lights work how they do in Calais and Statesmans.

So anyway, I might just leave it how it is (3 doors come on together), (drivers door comes on seperately). Dont know how else I could get them to work.

This is the first ever picture that I took of my VS Berlina. The very first day that I bought it home. Absolutely stock original.
