bit of a small update, bought a new thermostat and gasket. I nearly fell over when i looked at what the gasket was and how much they wanted for it. Anyway i also got some vynil dye onto the door frames, back ones were a little faded, and for the amount of effort i put in, which wasn't much lol it came up pretty good, much better then what it was.
Ohh and if anyone has a vs and wants to know how low it is. the rear is 27-28 cm, from the centre of the hub to the guard, the front is ~30cm's ... lol

alright can anyone tell me what colours came on the lower half of calais' and the paint code to
i got a tin of shadow grey made up 4h046 and it seems to be to dark, i have a few stone chips and 1 scrape thats really annoying me
Lol dude th paints proble faded abit. I tried respraying my bonnet only old Subaru. Got the same colour code and it turned out darker lol. Maybe spray abit on a price of metel and see what colour it drys. Sometimes paint can lighten bait when it drys if I'm not wrong?

yeahhit's dried and its waay darker. There isn't a paint code for the lower half of the car on the compliance plate, the colour is wayyy offthe touch up paint i got is so much darker. I don't think it could have faded that much

Well new radiator and thermostat in finally, windscreen coming in the next fortnight, slowly become less and less cop bait lol. Unfortunatly it will be on FE2 suspension for a while 3 reasons, at this height, the cops love bending me over, im sick of holes in the exhuast, and trying to get it passed a rwc.

It's now registered, no more permits. Also has ultra low's in the rear now, sits to high for my liking but im over police attention already lol, new windscreen was put in, found out the old one had tint... Also a brand new harmonic balancer is on now to. The old one wobbled and made funny noises lol

They are compressed and im pretty sure the brand is kmac, how long ago did you see it on ebay?if it was less then a year then i don't think it would have been this one? Yeah man full leather, ill have a look at the springs for part numbers soon
Fair enough, yeah mine are compressed, now have reduced articulation/ comfort.
Ye let me know how you go with the springs ill look into them as an option.

yeah, i took them out becuase it was way to low. It was like 28cm from the hub to guard. It was pretty bouncy. Just had a look at the springs and there are no partnumbers on them sorry. There red and i think thats petters but kmac rings a bell so idk sorry

Latest news: was driving to work at 6 30 this morning, cruising along and all of a sudden it started free revving, it has no gears and no wont even start. I was so fkn close to buying wheels and now somehting big is wrong.
Cars cost too much.

this will be for sale once fixed, it is only the torque converter in the gearbox thats broken,
i have a daily now aswell, i really want a wh 5.7, plan is to put the gearbox back in once it comes back, clean it up a bit more, drive it a while becuase i reaaly miss driving it haha and then try to sell it for my next toy

well a little has changed, its been 3 or more months and the gearbox is ready to go back in tommorow, the box itself has been rebuilt, and also a new 3000 stally just arrived today. Ive cleaned up the inside even more, changed a few small lights to blue led's, nothing gay just a few subtle ones, its also now on vz thunder wheels, looks much better then stockies! i will probably keep it for atleast summer, just so i can get some of the money back ive spent on it.
3 months for a gearbox rebuild seems a long time. At least it's going again.

the gearbox itself took about 3 weeks, im not complaining, i wasn't charged labour-mates rates, and i had to save for the stally. So it sat for a while cause i bought another car to keep me going lol. now ive got a clunk in the front end thats driving me up the fkn wall. Ill clean it all up tommorow and get some pics

well not much has changed, the gearbox was fixed, then rego expired a week later in january, its now sleeping under a car coverand its now on vz thunder wheels. i have a pic ill try upload

Here is a photo at christmas, it has ultra lows in the rear in this pic, the lower springs where in the garage lol i had to do a fair bit of highway driving around then
