hey everyone, bought my vs wagon about a year ago as a factory 5 speed for $300 off a carpenter who used it for work. was stock standard except for a 2.5" catback. was very rough, had a bad miss, fuel lines were clogged with E10 crap, smacked gaurd and two smashed headlights and had more dings then a doorbell shop :rofl2:
the mods below with a (f) mean future mod after rebuild and (d) means mods have been done already
Odo: 260,xxx body, 165,xxx motor, 90,xxx dash :hmmm:
Colour: sherbrooke green, being resprayed purple
Engine: 3.8L ecotec v6
Transmission: T5 manual
Exhaust: Pacemaker Headers, high flow cat, 2 1/2" lukey (d)
Diff: LSD, 3.45's (d)
Electrics: Power Window conversion (d)
Interior: VZ SV6 leather fronts (d), standard back seats to be redone to match front (f)
Wheels: on the hunt for new 20's for after respray. did have 20" xhp's and 20" Bsa's
Stereo:
after rebuild will have:
Rockford Fosgate, (f)
- 4 pairs P1652-s 6.5" splits
- 4 Punch amps= 2 mono's, 2 4channels
- 4 Punch subs, either 10" or 12"
- 2 5farrad capacitors
- Kenwood dvd headunit
- dynamat sound deadener all round (f)

the car is in the middle of a respray and rebuild at the moment. it will be going purple. havnt decided 100% on a purple yet but im thinkin FG falcon viper purple with deep purple flakes :idea3: i thought about morpheus but every man and their dog have that colour, also kapow but it looks blue sometimes and i dont want that.

constructive advice and your general opinion is appreciated :dance:
ill update the photos with the spray job when i can guys :)

Wow i like this, there is alot of time and effort put it. ive always loved the venetians on a wagon, and the "shiny bits" under the hood look amazing, i like all the plans except the bodykits,

but overall good work, and cant wait to see it repainted, with some nice rockerford sound in it :)

Cheers mate very appreciated, i wasnt originally going with the s kit but i changed my mind and thought it gave it a mean look with the gto bonnet. So i thought what the heck :)

Haha cheers mate, the pics of it with all its standard body panels, i took the back springs out lol. Looks sweet but not drivable

You read my mind bud, it did hav bags in the rear hooked to a valve but it kept leaking, so went back to trusty old springs. Have been thinking a full airride kit but that about $3000 and im sick of spending money on it lol

Update,
Car is just about ready for spray, its going ve k'pow. Getting paint today and my mates are turning a double garage into a spray booth which is repainted, sealed, has heaters and exhaust fan fitted in the roof.
Gonna be good :)
