    looking good.

i think you should also get one of these for a laugh =P
    Window-Sun-Shade-Blind-Black
ill have to post a pic up of it when mine arrives

it would definately go well with the intercooler at the front.
and i wonder what people would think of it =P

or get one of these for an even better laugh
    http://media.divinecaroline.com/ext/...parazzi/2c.jpg
id say its too rude to actually post up the pic
how about we make the pedals out of sticky rubber and the shoes with steel spikes. at least my shins would like that

hahaha yeh supersports are super sexy :P

yeh man deff get those bezzles they make the front end look way meaner

    **********************************************

Ok in other news , opened my hard lid and one of my gas struts are missing WTF?
and the car is getting real cranky in the morning and the aircon is hissing all the time inside the car , so did a error code search and it came back with Code 97 - Canister Purge Solenoid and/or Circuit

So im guessing there might be a leak in the line somewhere or that little solenoid at the rear on the engine is dead lol haha . so will sort those 2 things this week

Anyways took the purge solenoid out of the white vs and put into the ute and the aircon/ air vents work again . so im pretty much 100% guessing i need a new one lol hahaha

and I think i found a guy on ebay that does struts for the hard cover on ebay so yeh

now just waiting on a few goodies from ebay to come in the mail lol

And also pretty much had a long and thoughtful think the other day/night about this cars future when im off my p's at the end of the year . And decided that the super6/blown route is not for me . The LSX scene will be for me . After driving a few ls1's and l76's and a v8 supercar (lol) The amount of satisfaction was over the moon and the power in stock form (and modded to the max) is unreal .

And pretty much narrowed it down to what car I want next too

SO yeah no more engine mods for this little beast :P , just tidying her up and keeping her running hahah

Oh man a ls1 in this would be mint !! and yeh love this ute to death . Would figgin fly

    *****

    OK LONG RANT :P \/ \/

Ill be off my p's in august this year , So been a life long dream to own a v8 . And while putting one in my vs , 5L say $5,000 and a LS1 $10,000+
Id rather just buy a new car ,even thou I love the vs shape so much

but i have to face facts soon ,

*Ill be fully qualified in about under 2 years time . So need to start thinking about going out on my own and running my own business and such .
*So ill be needing a car that can tow a trailer and , store things that can't fit in the trailer in the boot/tray

*So ill need to get at least 2 apprentices hired as of the work I do , so there goes having a ute to drive as could only take one passenger with me .
And don't really want say them driving to the job site and that with out me / organizing where to meet up and that would suck . Currently how I have it with my boss , me and the other apprentice take it in turns picking each other up , then we drive to the bosses house and then all take his car to the job site . ANd that way say if we need to go back to anther job we arn't like running around and such .

*So I need a car with room to carry 3+ people in it as above ^

    * And im really dead set on a lsX engine , and holden/commdore . As they are my favorite cars . And also want something thats a work horse but can look good on weekends and such , and still has the power/ speed

Thought about a crewman with a ls1 , but the rear seats are really small , and im only 6ft (not really tall) and the back seats are horrible , imagine making 1-2 apprentices sit in the back with me in the front with my chair fairly way back from the steering wheel would be horrible . and even thou i like the look of the crewman it just had all these little fails to it that added up .

so that pretty much ruled holden ute styled bodies out .

And didnt want a sedan as the boot isn't big enough , so that pretty much ruled them out automatically

So got me thinking what other types of bodies do holden make then it hit me ,

    Wagons

Ever since I got my p's I wanted to get a wagon , but ended up with a sedan instead . And ive always had a soft spot for them as since a little kid ,family has always had a wagon that i thought was cool (vp wagon lol ) mum and dad bought it brand new hahah

so wanting a LSx engine in a wagon I went surfing the net for some , found mostly like berlina spec ones etc ,
Intill I found out holden made a number of VY SS wagons , and they look pure sexxx

Which is perfect for me , room for apprentices (leg room and able to fit more then 1 passenger) And also say down the track have kids with the missus or something lol lol lol , room for tools that dont fit in the trailer , nice tidy cruiser , and still look cool and have the v8 power .

Also with being a limited run the ss wagon has like leather seats , climate control , manual , most have sun roofs , etc basically a calais and ss sedan features but in the form of a wagon :P

and the vs shape , even thou its my favorite holden shape (especially the utes ), they are getting a bit old and out of date now , and the vy brings in so much newer shapes and suspension etc

So yeh pretty much have my heart set on finding a vy ss wagon now hahah.

    thoughts on my logic ?

keep vs ute as a work/daily which is good on fuel.
looks nice, and goes nice. and does what you need it to do.

sell white thing and buy a v8. (v8 wagon as you want)
    simple and good solution.
run 2 cars all up. may cost a lil more, but it would be worth it.
(its what i plan on doing hopefully with a camaro/old american muscle)

a person i know quite well does a similar set up. except its 2 holdens.
1 is a v6 wagon. good on fuel and so forth. carries a hell of alot of stuff. pretty much a daily.
then has a V8 Ute i would love to own one day. only really run on weekends/holiday. instead of miles per gallons, its gallons per mile. =P

    either that or swap cars?
mine has a 3 person bench seat in it afterall =P

oh and im soooo jealous of you right now....
bloody August to get off the P's?
this is going to suck waiting until end of 2014 -.-
how about we make the pedals out of sticky rubber and the shoes with steel spikes. at least my shins would like that

Would love to keep the ute but like I said ill need to carry more then 1 passenger soon down the line when im qualified

Also forgot to say , new house has a shitty drive way ,meaning 2 cars can be in the drive way and the rest of the nature strip, so since me and mum have a car they go in the drive way and which blocks the garage off :/ as of shitty slope and the way it is ,so no cars have to be in the drive way to get into the garage , and every morning not going to move both cars etc lol . and with mums boyfriend and my girlfriend at my house pretty much 24/7 thats the drive way and nature strip full of cars lol .
And with rego , insurance and rwc etc prices to raise its going to be hell expensive to run/ own 2 cars
So sorta means i can only have 1 car hence my "all purpose wagon" Theory lol.

also the holden v6's arn't that great at towing , as when i towed my bosses trailer for a week using the ute i was using like $30 a day in petrol thirsty bugger , the missus' dads got a v8 ss crewman and when I used it tow my mini truck on a car trailer its used #### all petrol , so the v8 is way more suited to towing heavier loads with out straining / needing to guzzle 1,000 litres to get up hills and such lol

hahaha man bench seat would be mad fun , bit awkward carrying 2 other guys in it with a manual right between the middle guys legs thou hahahah

im so stoked to be off the P plates soon :P , cant wait . can have like 2 beers and can drive home , dont have to worry about being slightly over the limit the next day after a night of drinking . and best of all the ability to drive v8, super charged , turbo engines hahahah

2014 ?? man thats aaaaaaaaggggeess away! id die if i had rot wait that long lol

    looks awesome!!!
where abouts did you get them? they look top notch
btw your car looks clean.... i cannot see any leopard printing from dirty/dust/rain =P

and yeah.. waiting to the end of 2014 sucks... plenty of time to save for a good 8 though =P
probably will mean getting into a big block v8 manual on the day (hopefully 502 Supercharged if money permits =P) which i would consider pretty dangerous.
low power v6 into S/C 502 Big Block..... go figure =P

have you thought about something like a (both turbo diesel) Landy or Hilux ute?
ive driven both and they felt awesome. the lux could carry 5. the landy was only a 3 seater. (had specialised machinery on the tray)
or are you wanting to stick to holden?

and if you do become qualified. and get apps. just give them a few extra $'s a day to drive themselves (if you have more then 1)
if you want to keep a v8 2 seater.
otherwise wagon sounds awesome. (would you consider an engine swap?.... ie VZ berlina Wag with 6L?)

    EDIT:

just off ebay dude like $60 i think , look so good on the darker cars ,

well I did have those 2 petrol rodeos and they drove so poor , slow off the line and handled like a truck , took forever to get going and stop .Ive driven the bosses 2009 triton and thats alright , but still i dunno im not that into the whole 4x4 thing . but hmm who knows ive got ages to think all about this stuff haha

was thinking about giving the apps money to drive and that but , most of the time if you get call backs or have to go to another job site it gets a bit crazy , ANd ive already promised my brother an apprenticship if he gets to year 10 , so he will be only 16-17 , and what if only 17 year olds apply to work with me and such how will they be able to drive to the job and so on hmmmm

hmmm probly cost to much to get the 6L into a vz wagon , vz wagon around $13-14k then to put the engine in say $10k all up and its only got a little bit better over a LS1 , where i could buy a vy ss wagon with a 5.7 , sunroof and that etc and its a rare car . and use the cash to buy a cam and that, which i would have spent putting a stock 6L

hahahah ! I am a Trents-former ;P, maybe this ute is my automobile form :S

if you find a v8 wagon then go for it =P
seeing it does what you need it to do and so forth.

and if your Trent-former, then how did th epictures get taken if you took them yourself?
or is it one of those self portrait things? where people run back and get into the pose?
or in your case... transform in time. so how many dud pics are there with a hand for a wheel or so on =P

you need my springs/height set up for your driveway =P

either that or get a driveway like the one i have.
loose gravel and of a good length.
not that the occasional burnout happens =P
how about we make the pedals out of sticky rubber and the shoes with steel spikes. at least my shins would like that
