Cheers boys sounds like a way better way to go about it so would you have any idea when I would pick the silver pin strip up from? I got no idea where to look for it haha.

Ordinary motor accessory shops stock it, but it's not as common as it used to be. I have purchased it at Autobarn and I would think that Repco or Supercheap would stock it too. You need to get the widest stripe you can and you might find it's stil a bit narrow to match the original trim, so you have to make two passes down each side. I think the old trim was about 12 or 13 mm wide and you won't find pinstripe that width. You might be able to get it up to 8 or 10mm wide at best. I seem to recall that was what I had to do.

That stuff in your post above is too wide and has no black margins either side. It would look like crap if you used that stuff.

Update- got my new side guard this afternoon and took the other one off and sanded them back and put some primer on all ready for some lays of paint in the morning

Thanks calaber ill go check out autobarn and supercheap tomorrow see what they have in stock or if they can order me some in i think it will make a lot of difference with the new ones of them. Also tomorrow ill be spraying abit of my interior silver and see how it looks

I agree with calaber once again, the trim you posted is 21mm and all chrome, it would look great on a pimps caddie but crap on your car. See if you can find some pinstriping.

Even better.. it was only 60 bucks to have a pro apply stripes to my otherwise plain white daily.. couldnt be much more to get a pro to do the same on your trims in a nice chrome tape?

Yeah true i could get a pro to do it ill see if autobarn have the tape first and if they do ill get it and have a ago my self
