My Vs-s Build
Just picked this up for $2500, It's a 96 Vs s-pac with 206xxx on it with a weeks rego left.Was previously owned by a chick and she just drove it until it was ready too die, oil was hardly even reading on the dipstick and gluggy as all #### lol. So ive just topped up the oil and replaced the filter, replaced all other fluids aswell, which were all low also. Given it a good service and clean.
Its got a full set of Xhp Jet blacks with it but one rim is stuffed so ill have too find somewhere too get it repaired or just tossing up whether too get differnt rims, Maybe Vz storm18's or Vx ss rims, not too sure yet.
Ive just bought clear indercators, new seatbelts becuase the old ones didnt recline and some new badges for it.
Im just getting it ready for rego so, minimal spending on modifying it at the moment. Was thinking maybe some clear black tail lights, im usually not a big fan of those but it think they'll suit this car well hopefully anyway.

Ps- will be getting tint redone at some stage soon aswell.

Yeah id love too get it repaired but im guessing its too far gone, Car goes in for its pink slip today hopefully it passes. Has a hole in the exhaust but its tiny and i think hell just fix that. My only other worry is abit of an oil leak at the back of the bellhousing. Should be all good other than that lol.
what type of badges do you need i have tones of them i have s pack ones also pm me cheers.

Mines fairly dark too but nothin was said about it, spose it depends where you go, who, ect.
I almost got knocked back for having an aftermarket steering wheel fitted, must have an airbag on the vs..? Had no idea
Yeah the tint is buggered, its all peeling off and you cant see jack shit out of it. Should get new tint within the next few weeks. Got my clear indicators today, best 10 bucks ive spent lol. Just wondering about them though, are they legal without a orange bulb ? because at the moment they just flash a light ?

yeah legally they need an orange globe,would look stupid flashing clear anyway.
Yeah it looks pretty dicky lol, Bought some Altezza black tail lights for it today.
Heres a photo as promised with the clear indicators, change the look of the car so much. Love them.

Got my tail lights today, still undecided on them but i think they suit the car pretty well. Might tint the standard lights and see what i like better..
And a photo of the rim which is ####ed but im unsure if it can be repaired or not ?? Opinions ?

I would say it is poked. It would be too hard to get it fixed.
Personally, i rather the standard lights, but it is your car and if you like them that is all that matters!

it can be fixed, ive seen worse...although our local wheel shop is really onto it...and nz is a bit far for you to send a wheel to get fixed..

Yeah im starting too like the lights, Nah mate i dont have the chunk it happened too the car when the previous owner had it.
Went for a drive tonight and my tint is absolutely stuffed, i cant see jack shit out of my car. My high and low beam are terrible also lol.
I have no interior lights either, like the light that surrounds the shifter is non existent ?? Is there a light there or is it a fuse that would have gone ? Is truly a terrible car too drive at night when its pissing down rain lol.

Cheers man, yeah its a good car just needs some tlc.The pictures really do it alot of justice in person you can see its fair share of dents scratchs and the clear peeling off lol but it should be a nice car by the time im finished with it.
Just thought id post a couple of my old rides.
This was my first Vk project, Ive still got it actually and its sitting with about 6 foot of grass round it out on my parents farm lol.
This was my second Vk, It had severe issues and met its fate paddock bashing.
This was my Vh, Was a great car with a hotted up 6 went better than my Vs but sadly met a bog box tree and that was the end of it.
This is my Lx project, It will get done one day, Until then though its on a mates farm
So there you go, had a few holdens but mostly shitboxs lol.
Ive got lots more photos of my old cars, will post them later.
Okay so abit of an update, Got my New exhaust put on, Pretty standard 2/1/2' Sports Exhaust.Got a new battery becuase the old one was ####ed and kept going flat every 5 seconds, previous owner reckons shes only had it go flat on her like once, yeah ####ing bullshit.
Had an attempt at getting the tint of my windows, Well #### me what a frustating bloody job that is, ONE WINDOW took me 3 hours lol. The next window took me about an hour though, apperently razorblades are abit more effeciant than a screw driver and some soapy water haha.
Also put my 18's back on the front.
Looks pretty damn nice mate. I'm not sure about the taillights but at least they aren't chrome lol, and new exhaust is always fun
For removing the tint you can buy a razor blade in a handle thing that makes it a lot easier.
Yeah mate, i wasnt sure about the tail lights either but theyve grown on me, Might down the road get S2 tail lights for it.
The exhaust is defiently abit quieter now which is good, was loud as #### before and had a real drown about it which was horrible lol.
Ive looked for a razorblade/handle thing but cant seem too find one anywhere, so ill just stick too razorblades for a while, just getting really sore hands/fingers from it haha.
Just fixed my rear power window for can you believe it, $34 haha. My regulator still worked but one of my cables had snapped so i figured #### paying the rediculous price for a new one so i got some new cable, some outta cable and some crimps. pulled it apart, replaced cables, crimped them and then soldered them onto the cable. Wallahhh like a new power window lol.
