My 94 vr

Hey Guys

Test drive and look over a car before you buy!! i havent got my learners yet and im 20 next week sadly i know but i thought in january time to buy a car to get on the road but that failed brought the car and the cluster said 248 thousand kms but it was broken!! so i dont know how many kms it has accutly done and a rwc list with 25 things wrong with the car

car still isnt on the road lack of cash, so i was searching through ebay and found another vr only good for parts,

so i took parts out of it and this is what i got,

Model: 1994 VR Exec

Paint: Blue

Supession: FE2 Springs (Changed from stock to fe2 till can get lower springs)

Changed Boot Garnish to vs boot garnish but going to paint the vr garnish same color code of the car and put that back on

Rims: VS Berlina rims but when can afford it 19inch VY GTS rims

Diff: LSD 3.48 gears instead of the panzy single banger lol

Badgless and no side dent strips

Future mods:

lower springs

19inch rims

color code door handles and mirrors

custom interior

had the same problem man when i bought my vr ss test drove it and loved it got it home and then realised the k's stopped turning over so the next day went back and demanded they fix it and they did, but the rest of the car sounds decent future mods sounds good too

The clucter in most VN's to VS's are disabled for obvious reasons, they are an easy fix. The Vr that I own has had 245,000 on it for about 6 years....

Sounds like a bit of a rough start with that car. Though it is a long list, most of them could just be fiddly items, besides if you can turn the car into a nice daily/cruiser you'll be proud of your efforts.

yea it has been a rough start to it all but its getting there i had my usb with my pics on it to upload and i forgot it

front end with old plates on it and dents in the bonnent - since then have put gloss black cups in bumper replaced bumper bonnent and right hand gaurd



custom gear selector $15.00 off ebay



custom sub box to go other side of spare wheel to keep boot open and not crowed for the pram for our son and (grocies for the other half lol)



had 2 red PC case neons in the draw so i thought oh yea mount under the parcel shelf lol



VS Berlina rims cost $100 for 4 roadworthy tyres to pass the roady 1 was cracked 75 for another rim with roadworthy tyre on it so thats what i have on the car at the moment (pic off goolgle as i need to get the camera and take more pics of the vr

vs acclaim roof liner also installed,

brought a cold air intake off facebook awhile back and its missing the peice from the box to the intake and the guy blocked me so thats useless waste of money

replaced harmonic balancer,

replaced aircon controls unit, headlight switch, a/c switch, all interior plastics,

whats next when i have the cash is all new bushes right the way through out the vr and rear crackshaft seal replaced and it will be on the road finnally after 11 months lol
