Smarty's new toy

Here is my new toy that I stole ( mean purchased) off a mate at work for a bottle of JD (750ml).
It is a 1997 serII VS Calais with the 3.8 V6 Supercharger (139800 ks), auto, full leather interior, climate control, factory 10 stacker head unit.
Since taking ownership I have done the following:
1. Towed it home as it had four flat tyres and no V belts (as the main one perished) and no rego as it sat at work for 2 year collecting cob webs and sun burn.
2. Polished every panel 3 times by hand with kitten No 3 cut' n' polish, still need to give it another polish then wax.
3. Removed the original Calais rims and fitted the current 17" rims (that I purchased for $250 with spare tyres)
4. Removed the tow bar and old man mud flaps
5. Removed the standard suspenion and fitted Pedders
6. Just about to have the exhaust redone (standard with twin pipes at the rear) yes I know......but I am over loud cars these days

Nice clean Calais mate, an absolute score with the low K's, plus it's S/C and you got full leather. Rim's look great but I prefer the stock rims on them, these look good anyway.

I'm with you with the exhaust, very rarely do they actually sound good on a v6.
