    Default First Car :)

Hey all, long time reader, short term poster!

Got a 1994 Toyota Lexcen Newport, so pretty much a VR calais lol.

    Cars done 220,XXX kms

The car was my mums, was bought 6-7 years ago? at 160,XXX kms, so we havent done many kms in the car.
Shes in a wheelchair from MS, so i "inherited" the car, as she can't drive any more.
When i got it it had different rims, i was unlucky enough to hit a large pothole and that stuffed one of them, so the current ones are replacements .. for now
I'm still studying full-time at tafe aswell, so funds are short and all work is undertaken by me and my father (who is a panel beater).

    Things that have been done:

Slight pearl in the pain, it really pops in the sun!
Fully debadged including front grill badge removed
Lowered on King Springs L / HD (Sports series from 5 - 6 years ago?)
17" rims, not sure on model!
    Tint
Pedders shortened struts in the front

And ofcourse there has been the usual servicing things:
    Harmonic Balancer
    Tie-Rod Ends
    Water Pump
    Inlet Manifold Gaskets
    TPS
    CAS
    Coil Pack
Oil and Filter every 10K etc etc

    Stereo:
    JVC KD-AVX11 DVD Head Unit
    Cadence K56X Splits in front
    Jensen 6x9s in the rear
    Jensen POWER900 Sub Amp
    Kenwood 2 Channel Speaker Amp
    Pioneer 10" Champion Series Sub

Things that need to be fixed:
Rear Left Axle (CV Boot is split)
    Camber Kit
Exhaust (Current one is broken and sounds like s**t)
    Link Pins
    Front and Rear Crank Seals
Overrun Clutch Piston Seal (Clutch wont apply in manual gears, no engine braking)
    Power Steering Pump is noisy
Scratches and marks on paint caused by wheelchair scraping :\ (Have got left-over paint from the respray)
    Ripped leather seat
Little interior bits (Center console cig lighter, air vent)

I'm also thinking of doing the VT brake upgrade (Getting all parts for nothing)

    So, what you guys reckon?

    Finally got a new exhaust:

eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d

Wanted something that sounded way better than the hole-filled stock system but not too loud, seems to do the job well

Also ive now found a crack going right around the LHS exhaust manifold, so i need to try and find a replacement (probably a wreckers job) and get a gasket to stop it happening again!
