as for the torana...i got this to do up with my young bloke but we havent started the body as yet , we have nearly got the front end all sorted with hq brake upgrade and all new bushes.
saw the thread on painting with a roller and might give it a go..
the motor has been taken out to 40tho and has hypertec flatops , spike conrods , custom cam , balanced , decked , heads have yella terra rockers , port and polished with new valve seats and wont be too long to get the motor sitting on the kframe ready to go into the shell
It looks alright for rust from those pics. Good pick up. What colour scheme are you planning ?
not too much rust to clean up , window sills are all good and a little under the scuff plates but all in all not too bad for a 1974 model.
gave the choice of color to the young bloke and he reckons red and black....i like that idea as if fits with the bombers
going to get it blasted and primed and go from there , not going to flair it either at this stage but we can always do that later
