Good buy for your first ride.

looks awesome, and i wish i could have a set of those seats lol
future plans sound good, but if your going for a cam you can't have ultra high ratio rockers. just thought i'd let you know haha
it causes valve float, which can end very badly, a bloke i know has the stage 3 cam with 1:8 rockers and apparently this was going to happen:
Short Valve Float Movie - YouTube
well, now hes running stock again lol
well that about all i've researched, i don't really know all to much about comp and mixing rockers and cams , i was just sharing what i know lol
Yeah I'm pretty sure you only run high/ultra high ratio rockers if you have a standard cam. Both high ratio rockers and a bigger cam work by increasing valve lift, together you get too much valve lift, which gives valve float and I'm pretty sure that's a bad thing![]()
Update. Twin throttle bodies on. Now just gotta tune it ( a little rough particularly in park/neutral and early shift problems )
EDIT** Fixed the issues ( I was being silly and didn't fit the tps correctly ) and a small vacuum leak was causing the higher rpm. Runs a lot better all round then a stock one.
