Nice dark tint, what is it & where did you get it from? And is there a blue tinge to it or is that just the camera?

Hey guys! Been a while between any updates... and a long time between frequenting the forum due to some bad circumstances that have happened in my life recently.

Work wise, I work for Australia Post as a Posite...... YES! A Postie Anyways, Monday the 23rd of January didn't end up ending like a normal dreaded Monday. I was riding back to the depot to knock of work for the day when some f u c k w i t, decided he "didnt see me" and proceeded to not give way to me at a intersection and pulled out across my path and cleaned me up. Im doing well considering and almost 2 weeks on. Injuries sustatined: Basically both my legs are broken, left knee is smashed as with the right and also suffered a compund fracture to my right femur... So basically, I have to learn to walk again etc... and its going to be a long road to recovery! I've had two operations to date, pinned the left knee and my right femur/knee now has a rod and plate (approx 25cm long) with plenty of screws in it.


So work is def' on hold with my VS... just when I was really starting to get into the swing of things, but hey... thats life! Im strong and determined and hopefully im up and back at it asap. Currently stuck in a rehab centre, moved from hospital yesterday. Hopefully I can get home from here in around 2 weeks time, with good help from my personal physio/gym work etc... I live in a unit, first floor. So I cant get myself up the stairs yet. Will be damm nice to get home when I can but and then from there lots more physio no doubt...

Thanks heaps man... It's dark yeah, 15% all round. Got it done through a hook up via a work mate

Yeahhhh! That antenna was starting to really annoy me hey haha!

Would be nice to get a small one that sits on the roof in the middle at the back Not much will be going on for a fair while but, ^^ read above ^^

Sorry to hear about the accident. Good luck with the rehab...and just remember, it could have been worse. At least you have lived to tell the tale.

Thanks for the well wishes boys! Rehab is going alright, small improvements. Still not weight bearing or walking at all, get another review in around 5 weeks time. Hopefully I can start to try and put weight down on my left leg then... and it's looking like I might have to get another operation on my right leg.

Anyways, hopefully should have a small car related update early next week

Haha.. not quite! Driving is going to be a while off I reckon, I did manage to escape the hospital for a couple of hours one day last week and get these for the car tho

...the cars looking smick man, your rear left panel that had the dint there is EXACTLY where myn is, white car too but myn is a VR s manual . If you don't mind me asking, how much did it set you back mate, cause i am going to get quotes soon!

Small update, non car related tho Finally got the all clear from my specialist to be able to bear weight on one of my legs, so I can finally go home - WOOHOO!!!!

Good news indeed boys! Yeah, I've been hanging to get home... was starting to lose it aye

Rego was due, got all that sorted and went to the garage with the Mrs to put the new sticker on over the weekend... was so good just to see my car again, couldn't help myself. Jumped in the drivers seat and kicked her over. I was surprised she fired up after more then two months! So just sat there letting her warm up, and run for a while... revs here and there

Meet up and photos sounds good Brad... just not sure when, want to give myself a little more time to settle in at home/recover (mind you, there is a hell of a long way to go....) I reckon I will try and go for a small cruise within the next 2 weeks tho. Whether the Dr approves it or not
