Brenton's 1996 VS Acclaim
74Hey everyone finally got some photos together of my vs (not the best quality pics), so story is i bought this about 2 and a half months ago, since then i've had a few probs with it, etc (blocked injectors, coil pack) & to top it off some bitch crashing in the front end of my car =(, got it running good now but, anyway here is some pics, Idea's/suggestions ??
Performance Mods: Pacemaker extractors, 2.5" exhaust, K&N performance air filter
Stereo Mods: Vdo&Dayton? headunit, not sure what speakers, clarion sub & clarion 4X amp
Exterior Mods: Clubsport bodykit, Not sure what Mags (but i dont like them), removed trolley strips (yet to get off the sikaflex)
Interior Mods:Currently have door trims off & painted & gonna re-do the inserts with a vinyl (hoping to find some calais interior but)
Extra mods: Slotted rotors, Floor LED'S, Nolathane Bigger Sway Bar's, Lowered
Future Mods: Replace engine with one with less k's, stage 2 shift kit, GreenFoam tune, bigger throttle body, monaro cv-8's or maybe some doritos leaning towards the doritos, new coilpack, new speakers & seperate amp, paint & retrim interior or find calais or statesman interior, Many more in mind but i need the fundage 1st lol
Stuff that needs doing:
Car temperature creeps just over half when at lights
Fuel gauge inaccurate
rear brakes
new window tint
bonnet
clean engine bay
Annoying boot rattling, when sub is on
re-gas aircon
new boot light
interior light needs fixing
brake light/fast blinking indicator
new dash (air bag cover has lifted)
Oil Filter
Fuel Filter
Stuff i have recently done:
Added 82 Degrees Thermostat
Cleaned Throttle Body & Plenum
Added black velour car-seat covers

sorry mate but that doesnt look that good get sum better rims and do some actual mods.
Yeah i hate the rims myself as u can see im only on my p's so them mods are just fine for me

Haha that's shocking spent all the money on a clubby kit then got trispokes that are no where near the clubby rims. Not bad ride though.

That's how it was when i bought it, i personally wouldnt pay for a clubby kit, but yeah i rekon some doritos would look mad on it

Yeah i ordered some clear blinkers on ebay already, unfortunately i gotta wait a few more yrs for my blacks =( my fault for being lazy and getting my p's late lol
Not bad man.. agreed on the rims need changing and the indicators aswell. makes a difference but overall its still a nice daily
