Quick little introduction, my name is Ryan and I have owned just about every model of The Generals Finest up to VX starting with a very tidy VK Calais 5L when I was 16, many years ago....Once I got married and the kids came along my little projects had to take the back burner for a few years. Now that we are all set up, I have decided to build myself a little Sunday driver to enjoy and waste too much money on.
I have always been a big fan of the VR/S shape ever since the VR Senator I owned many years ago. I ended up with this to have a bit of a play with.
It was a little worse for ware when I got it, but a nice base to start off with. I am currently in the process of trimming it in a cream and black. The seats I am using are calais items that are being sent off to the trimmers on Monday to be trimmed in matching cream leather (the man made stuff, not the cow made stuff) He is also making me up the gear lever boot and handbrake boot in the same cream leather. It is currently fitted with a mild crane cam, gilmer belt drive and a basic 3" exhaust. Plans include a 355 stroker (scored the crank, chev rods and pistons off a mate for $200!) Active manifold, Injection perfection throttle body, Crane 288, rollers etc etc... Hopefully it will all be finished in time for Powercruise this year. Any way, here are some pics.
Ignore the stupid red SAAS seat. It is only there so I can move it around with out having to sit on a milk crate while the seats are away getting trimmed.
Feel free to post comments, good or bad.

Vz HSV ....?
Sorry for the late reply, been on holidays. To clear a few things up it is not a genuine Clubsport, I am pretty sure it spent the first part of it's life chasing criminals up and down the motorways judging by the factory FE2 suspension, exc pack and manual transmission, then passed through a few differnt hands before I got a hold of it. It used to have the plates PHT304 going off some old rego papers that where in the glovebox.
To answer a couple of questions, I was quoted $600 to have both front buckets and the rear trimmed in cream. That Falcon in the background is my company car (I work for Ford, sorry) and the wheels are VZ Supersports 19x8" and the colour of the car is Panther Mica.
I decided (my wife actually did) that having the seats done in cream as well would of been a bit girly....I was only left with one option, black. I made a quick phone call to a mate I used to work with to see what he had in stock. He just happened to have some nice VZ leather trim in Black! $150 (mates rates) and a 20 minute drive later I had the job of trying to make them fit in the VS. The front seats were very straight foward as I simply used the runners off the calais seats I already had, the rear seat was a complete pain in the ass! I managed to get it in there but I am not 100% happy with it so I will do some fine adjusting when I can be bothered.
You will notice in the new pics it currently has two differnt types of wheels on there. These are only on there untill I can fine some VE GTS 20's for the right price and have them powder coated black. In the mean time I am having the tyres "red walled" next week to keep entertained.
anyway, here are some pics.

Liking the new trim mate sweet car![]()
Lookin good mate, love clubby kits.
I have a replica as well.
I would keep the bonnet and boot badges on there but I would get rid of the clubsport badge and 215i as thats a little out of place even on a replica
Very nice car mate. The interior looks great. Glad you changed the seats in it.
Not alot has changed in the last couple of weeks. I replaced the rear coils with some Ultra lows, finished off the interior, wired up a cd player and drove the wheels off it for the last week.
I'm thinking I might go with one of the Raptor Supercharger kits as well.
Added some red walls and gauges,
Overall I am very happy with how it has turned out. Pretty much get positive comments from people just about everytime I take it out for a drive. Time to turn my attenion to getting some more ponies out of the ol' 304.
CARS A SEX MACHINE....!!!=)=) wheels look awesome mate keep up the good work
WE ARE NOT WORTHY! WE ARE NOT WORTHY!!!
Car looks hot man
My ride-VS commo, Just finishing the manual conversion. Working out those annoying bits!
Very nice...red walls break up the black nicely.
Looks very nice. Love the Pantha Mica.
