i think during next year, the next mod/project is, getting another motor, getting it rebuilt and then getting a supercharger
got a new diff and alternator as well. still savign for a new motor
did not get far in saving.. the motor died last nite, pulled up set of lights, it was running rough as, dropped a cylinder, and makes some weird metalic noises, gonna get a low km v6 motor, put my heads on it (if they are still ok) and then get a cam and chip package.. its gonna take some time coz im pretty much broke :S
that sucks dude! do you think the head work was worth it? i was thinking of getting mine done on my vs. Was it 400 bucks? thats not overly expensive for some thing like that is it?

one after the other they keep on breaking. sucks, atleast u know the car is near new condition lol. surely there cant be too much more that could go wrong?

ill prolly have a spare VR motor soon buddy [= buying a VS saturday for 500 bucks, bring on rebuilt, worked ecotec into my vp with 5spd :P
ah well was sorta expecting it, the head work, was a heap more responsive and a fair increase in power, i hope the heads are fine so i can bolt to the new motor

got me self my motor yesterday, got the old motor out last nite, bolt a few thigns to new motor then in she goes
well i had that motor in an running was noisy and rough as all ****, then the cam aparently seized/jammed according to the wrecker i got motor from, got tow trcuk and delievered me car to em, they agreed with giving me anotherr motor under warranty

got me car back yesterday arvo, its goin good (motor), needs a service, (next week since im broke now lol) and a gearbox solenoid has failed

update: got a custom chip made from doctor bob that removes any reference to the camshaft sensor, the vn did not have this sensor so the vr computer kept throwing a error code, but dr bob has sorted that for me,
still gota get the gearbox solenoid fixed. but its running pretty nicely atm, except for taking off in 3rd gear..
once i get some hours back at work, im goin to be looking at some 19" wheels
