That's a big improvement on getting cool air even if I say so myself.
Well done and you would be feeling the difference everytime you drive it

Mate just reading your thread is swinging me toward the blower over a turbo for my VN 6.. Nice car mate, only thing is PLEASE get rid of those door moulds, a lot of people don't notice because they see them all the time on their own cars, but they can really ruin a great looking car! Colour coded door handles and side mirrors work wonders too, as someone already mentioned.
That's just me being picky though, I love your car mate. Makes me think about a VS front end conversion for my VN too, has the same bodykit

cheers man, im ontop of that door moulds thing lol
ive had these door calais moulds to paint white and put on after stripping those aqua ones off for ages now, just havent got around to it
i plan on doing the door handles white at the same time too.
its a hard decision which way to go with your VN man, both turbo and s/c have their pros and cons, really just comes down to what you want in the end. but my opinion is for a daily driver, the s/c is the way to go....all bias aside ofcourse

you're probably right, the turbo is just a nice idea for something different. It'd also cost a fair bit more to set up, which is a shame.

well, long time coming but the ugly aqua green door moulds are now gone! in their place is now colour coded VS calais ones, with the door handle recesses painted white and chrome door handles in place.
here's a few quick snap shots - the car is a bit dirty from being rained on and it was very overcast when i took these, but you can see the changes.

yeah its been suddenly alot colder here lately, particularly at night...the raptor just loves it - i think i did my CAI setup just in time, lol.
i really need to get out to the track soon, i think its time to see how it goes down the 1/4 with these cooler nights now.
its too much of a tease just on the streets, lol.

yeah i know - ill get out there eventually - been consentrating on making it look perdy lately.
just picked it up on monday from the panel beaters again after having the custom boot sprayed, bonnet re-sprayed, crack in rear bar fixed and sprayed and my quarter panel welded back onto the boot panel.
should have some pics up soon once i get the boot badge sorted and put on.
