Nooooiiiiiiice! That kit suits it insanely well, and love the single colour, get's boring seeing the silver on the clubby kits.
Not over done, looks great.. Well doneGot any interior pics?
It's not stupid, it's advanced.
My Bitchin' Ride
thats a great example of a good lookin ride, have you considered colour coding the mirrors & door handles? have you had it dynoed im curious to see what figures its runnin with the mods you've done. well done
cheers guys...
they were my thoughts exactly sixappeal, my spray painter tryed real hard to get me to do it in two tone, but i thought it would look better solid...
charg'd, i have thought about some colour coding..ill possibly get the handles sprayed white, mirrors ill leave as is for now. im also pretty curious to see what she'll pull on the dyno as well...when i get a bit more dosh ill look at gettin that done...same for the quarter mile (ill do that in winter).

yeah..pre made job, its actually a ricer monza shield (plz dont shoot me,lol).
i was gunna make one my self from a sheet of aluminium i have but i saw that one at autobarn and it had all the brackets and stuff already done so i got that instead, cost like $15 or something.
super sweet!!! how did u go about removing the airbag? no probs with it? love the body kit and rims, so sweet!!!!
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
PM with any info.
lucky for me the equipe didnt come with an airbag.
i think the equipe was a "special" deal...basically an exec with $5000 (or something) worth of extras....power windows, cruise, speed alert, equipe trim and badging,16" alloys.
thats pretty much what drew me to it when i was looking for a new car...i wanted power windows and cruise, but all the berlinas and calais etc..had much bigger price tags.
IMO i think the kit is way over done.
I think Commodores are starting to look very rice-Sorry
Big kits ,spoilers ,neons, etc Just aussie ricer.
i think the tail lights with the white blinkers would sout the car better :P. just my opinion. but overall i love the car
im not sure i know what you mean mate...are you refering to the original tail lights?Originally Posted by craigy09

car looks awesome, it is an inspiration to me to keep on going!

i think you'll find abs and drivers airbag were an option for an extra $1500 on the equipe.
as for the alloys i wasnt sure of the size.. 16" just came to mind when i was trying to remember (its been a while since ive had them on the car) how big they were, could very well have been 15".
Yeah equipe are 15"... was helping put a new deck in one today..
Think the only 16" on VR/VS are on the S? SS i'm faily sure are 17"...

hey mate just wondering how much the rims set you back they look sweet on the car and where bouts did you get them from.
cheers man....they cost me just under $2k with rubber, from keith for wheels at underwood (i think its underwood,lol)..southside of brissy anyway.
originally i had my heart set on 19"s...but its was almost another grand for them, so 18"s had to suffice.
thats unusual that a vs didnt have an airbag. even the series 1 exec vs's had airbags.
by memory that last car dont to have airbags where some of the vrs
