rofl no.. i got no idea its in the shop atm gettin the heater fixed and they r looking at it so hopefully it will b all good by tonite..
I duno what mods im gunna do to it ill take any suggestions on what order to do things in, what do people think of the black altezza lights on a calais?
Hahaa nooooo... calais lights are good as it is so unless you're going to dump it and stick on some big chromies, stock is bestThe Calais make a real nice stock looking car... but you can still make em go fast
As Subdue said,, you'll have to get out on the next cruise![]()
Driving a CURSED WH V6.
yeah ill do it up in good time i duno what to do first thou give us some sugestions
i say you keep the mods suttle keep it lookin like a calais not a ricerby the way very nice for a first car to
you dont need to do it up too come on the sa section cruze, stock, hot ,wild or mild who cares, u own a commodore and we would like you there, if you can't make it or are not into cruizing thats ok... all the best with ur ride...
With the Altezza lights, don't ruin a nice car with jap lights there are many more mods you can do ie rims, lower it,nice stezza, then engine, exterior, interior mods but its a calais & I agree with matt mann stocker a calais looks well more simpler and nicer with nice rims, nice paint and lowered nicely the more respect ull get for it.

cheers ok so no lights get mags n get in lowered as starting projects...
so u can get ur rear lights darkened or sumthin like that? wats that look like?
do ppl rekon i should get the new calais badges aswell?
Yeah you can tint the rear lights... I don't think it's so good on the calais lights as it is on exec lights though..
Calais badges are personal taste.. I'm about to lose all of mine... lol
Driving a CURSED WH V6.
yeah urs wont last long ey matt, i was think the VX calais badges
Well I've already ripped off the Holden badge and the Series II badge.. Calais badges is coming off before I was the car next... Lions and S/C badges staying..
VT Calais has the cursive badges too.

yeah ppl told me to take of the ecotech badge off
does it cost heaps to lower it if it has IRS sumthing about campers or sumthin
lol @ campers
Depends on how far you go and the profile of your tyres. Say if you went to lows and had fairly roundish tyres, you shouldn't have too much of a problem, but if you went to superlows or carry loads in the rear then you will need a camber kit to correct the angle your rear tyres sit on, otherwise you get bad inner tyre wear and go thru tyres alot quicker than you should.
Edit - Costs something like $150 for the caber kit, but considering there's no panhard rod like in a live axel car, it all works out about the same.

bahaha i no nothing... so it would only cost extra if i had low profile tyres... so how much would it cost to get lowered now?
Ummm... say $250-300 for springs... $150 odd for camber kit... then $100-200 for installation..
It's not so much about low profile tryes, but some have a flatter face on them and are going to be affected worse by bad camber. Like 15" are pretty round but go look at 18" or something and they are pretty flat on the road.

i was planning on 18"s oi man cheers for all ya help lol

Yeh you'll want to have your camber spot on for 18's... don't want to be munching $300 tyresIf you are planning on the rims going on soon, probably leave your lowering til after because it'll change your ride height etc when you put the bigger wheels on.

yeah i cant do anything for 6 months cuz of my ange and stupid insurance so im gunna save for that time then do it all at once but ill put mags on first i see what ya mean are u gunna do many mods to ur car
