The front bumper is from the VS series2 Calais with foglights, similar to SS bar with that surround but no spoiler lip.
The sleeper look does catch a few people out and thats the way I like it, also keeps the Plod off my back.

The L67 is a transplant from a written off VS11 Calais,
The only thing I didn't get was the dual stage fuel pump controller as the boot of the Calais was completely squashed, but I managed to get the fuel pump out of the tank.
The only difference without the Controller is that the controller slows down the pump when idling and cruising supposedly to help with emissions and fuel economy but it still drive perfectly.

The engine looks heaps better without those factory fuel pipes running allover the top of the supercharger.
You could say its a wannabe HSV, also have the HSV VS dash badge, have been trying to locate a blnk engine bay badge, missed a couple a while back on eBay.

Seats are real comfy, they are HSV SV5000, seats and door trims and had the rear back & headrests covered to match the theme of the fronts.

very nice ride man, i was wondering when you would get around to posting it up.
i finally know what that airbox you have is now too! i saw it in a pic you posted and couldnt work out what it was off - it looked like it was for a V8 but it was facing the wrong way....

The airbox lid is from the VN SS GroupA V8, the one with the second of the twin throttle manifolds, hence the SS on the top.
The VN SS GrpA was a holden special not from HSV and they were all dufis red in colour.
There are a few of them on the street comms forum.

Looks sweet mate looks like u have spent alot of time on her.

The only thing i can pick u on is ur 1/4 chrome stip, u should extend it all the way round the car, just dont look right in my opinion only having it on the front bar.

But besides she looks very nice, seat look mint too

Id be very proud to own it.

    Just love this wagon...

Hey when you swapped the diff ratio what effects did it have with the speedo and gearshift points ? I'm thinking of changing to 3.46 gears myself !!!

When I did the ratio swap I also had an electronic speedo correction box fitted by a VDO rep, I think at Brookevale.
It sometimes holds second a bit long because the speedo is telling the box that you haven't reached the maximum changeup speed as set by the factory.
I believe that when I had the car tuned last year they changed the change points thru the computer, not sure what it did because it sometimes still refuses to change up unless you back off the accelerator a little.
Fuel economy didn't change what so ever just from the swap but it definately jumps out of the blocks better.

    Just a quick update.
Getting ready to change over from the YT Tower of Terra to the new YT intermediate cooler and have carried out some mods on the lower inlet manifold.
I've had the useless coolant passages welded up, the S/C face machined and the inlet opened up to match up with the YT adapter plate/W2A core.

    Quick update:
Fitted some chrome door handles, leather arn rest with drink holder and HSV VX 330x32mm front brakes.
Have the 315mm rears and just waiting for a Harrop adapter kit that allows VX brakes to bolt straight up.

    Cheers Col.
